Whistler Blackcomb Opening Day 2016 with kids
A lack of snow on the lower mountain meant no magic carpet or beginner lifts open. We took up the challenge of bringing our two beginner kids on some challenging runs in a snow storm. It was an adventure.

Family Tube Park Experience Whistler - Why It’s Worth A Visit!
In today's video we go to the Tube Park in Whistler for the first time. As this is our first time in Whistler, we had to search for the entrance, but that was certainly part of the fun. Was it worth the visit?
The Coca Cola Tube Park was such a great afternoon for the family with different level of dips and fun. The green was great for our 3 year old, and the Black great for our Teenagers and your's truely.
If you ever get to Whistler or Black-comb, I would highly recommend a visit. Set aside a couple of hours and challenge yourself to do all 7 before your hour is up.
Thanks for watching.
See you in the next Adventure.

Kids love Ice Fishing in Whistler BC Canada
During the Winter months we field a few common question Do Kids enjoy Ice Fishing? Is Ice fishing a Fun Activity for families? The answer to both of those questions is YES. When I look back at my much earlier years of fishing. I remember Ice fishing as being fun and very rewarding. Now I will try to explain why, by seeing both sides of the fence. One being a professional fisherman and the other being a Father. Simply put, Ice fishing has a very small learning curve. This means especially with children you don't need to teach them how to cast and there isn't hooks flying everywhere. Once a child gets the simple motion of jigging, they can be almost instantaneously rewarded.
Although cold fingers can happen from time to time, most times they are self inflicted while enduring the making of either snowballs or snowmen. We have a great remedy for cold extremities in the form of portable Ice huts and propane heaters. If the fishing is great seldom do you hear children complaining. What you will hear is the buzz of excitement and the pounding of High Fives. Nothing gets me more excited than seeing a child reeling on a fish. Their excitement can be very infectious!
Occasionally it is nice to have a Trout for Dinner. There are a ton of children out there that do not know where food comes from. We always promote catch and release if your accommodations does not have cooking facilities. On our full day Ice fishing trips, there is an added option for your guide to bring a BBQ along. There is nothing like having a fresh fish for lunch with your Family in the tranquility of a remote Winter setting.
Getting your kids outdoors is a necessity when visiting Whistler, Canada. Let them run, breath in that fresh air, build a snowman, catch snowflakes and most of all enjoy learning a life long skill we call fishing. Some of my fondest memories are spending time with my Father reeling on fish. It's funny but I remember most of my Father's stories of fishing including his Father my Grandfather. Ice fishing is more than just Fishing, it's about comradery, it's about bonding, It's about Family!
It's time to book an Ice Fishing trip in Whistler, Canada with us. Spend some quality 1 on 1 time with your kids. Give your kids a lifelong skill they will enjoy for the rest of there lives. This is what memories are made of, Book today online or call toll free 1(877)905-8121. email us info@pembertonfishfinder.com if you have any questions. We look forward to Ice Fishing with you.
