The Black Hole - A waterslide in Sioux Falls
I am really scared of heights (when I have to go up myself, or if I take roller coasters that goes up very high like 50 meters or more).
At the end of the day I decided to ride down the Black Hole at Wild Water West (in Sioux Falls, South Dakota). This is by the way my second time in the states, and I really enjoyed staying here/there with my relatives etc.
We were a total of 20 people who drove from Luverne and Magnolia to Sioux Falls. I hope you find this video as epic as I do. ;D
Best regards from torasbjoern

Free Running in Sioux Falls
From July 20th-22nd, two friends and I went to visit the previous president of the University of Minnesota's parkour club at his hometown, Sioux Falls. When he left Sioux Falls for college, he thought that there was nothing good for free running there, but when he went back he started to explore. Then he sent us photos of spots that he'd found and we were there within a week.
It was my first ever parkour/free running jam. It was a LOT of fun!

When Buffalo Bill Came To Sioux Falls
Did you know that Buffalo Bill Cody came to Sioux Falls? According to the Minnehaha County Historical Society, Buffalo Bill brought his famous Wild West Show to Sioux Falls in 1896. Thousands of people came out to see the spectacle, that was set up on the shore of the Big Sioux River by what is now Riverdale Park in East Central Sioux Falls.
Buffalo Bill Cody was born in 1846 on a farm just outside of Le Claire, Iowa. Buffalo Bill was a larger than life old west cowboy, Pony Express Rider, Stagecoach Driver, Civil War Soldier, and Buffalo Hunter which is where he got his nickname by killing thousands of buffalo while providing meat for railroad building crews.
In 1883, in the area of North Platte, Nebraska, Cody founded Buffalo Bill's Wild West, a circus-like attraction that toured annually.
By 1913 Buffalo Bills Wild West show was forced into foreclosure. In 1917 Buffalo Bill died of Kidney Failure at age 70

Dakota Pathways: Water and Dust
Dakota Pathways: A History was a 20-part series used by Educator's across South Dakota for use in their classrooms. The 14 minute long segments explore some of the history of South Dakota. Water and Dust is the 7th segment produced in the series.
Who, or what, am I? I have been here for many years, mostly in South Dakota. From where I am, I have seen so much happen to the lands throughout the years. I can see all of the mighty rivers in South Dakota, and I have seen how they have helped this state develop.
I have seen holes in the ground that shoot water toward me, as if they were trying to stand by my side. I have cried many tears for South Dakota, but have also held back tears for long periods of time. During these stubborn times, there are others that try to be like me, but they do not serve the same purpose as I, so therefore do not resemble me. In the past there have been people who try to get my attention with dynamite, and even explosives, but I mostly just ignored them.
Sometimes, however, I would laugh so hard at them, that happy tears would fall. It's amazing what people will do to get your attention. I have seen times when my actions, or lack there of, have caused suffering to the people of South Dakota, and for that I am sorry.
I am high and mighty and cannot be touched by a human hand.
Who, or what, am I?
