Wrexham - A Quality Food Destination
We - and many others - are passionate about the quality of food in this area, so we've spent the last few weeks meeting & interviewing local chefs and producers with Follow Films and the Tourism Team at Wrexham County Borough Council.
Food tourism is driving visitors to Wrexham and North East Wales. The data and the restaurant trade are telling us that and it's a massive bonus to have some absolute quality eateries in this County. Here's a short film to explain the passion and talent that exists in our local food industry, the wealth of produce available and why we should be so proud of what's on our doorstep.
Thanks to the teams at The Hand at Llanarmon, The Fat Boar Wrecsam, The Nags Head Lavister, The Lemon Tree, Restaurant with Rooms, Wrexham, Big Hand Brewing Co, Chirk Trout Farm & Smokery and Steve McArdle Family Butchers for taking part...

Pembrokeshire County Run 2017 Part 1 - Newport
Sunday 3rd September 2017 saw the twentieth running of the annual drive around Pembrokeshire for classic vehicles. Unfortunately rain and high winds led to a reduction in the number of participants; the motorcycle contingent was wiped out almost completely.
Having planned to record the event at Newgale, we travelled further north to avoid the weather, ending up in Newport where it turned out to be largely dry, but still with strong winds.

Places to see in ( Shropshire - UK )
Shropshire is a county in the West Midlands of England, bordering Powys and Wrexham in Wales to the west and north-west, Cheshire to the north, Staffordshire to the east, Worcestershire to the south-east and Herefordshire to the south. Shropshire Council was created in 2009, a unitary authority taking over from the previous county council and five district councils. The borough of Telford and Wrekin has been a separate unitary authority since 1998 but continues to be included in the ceremonial county.
The county's population and economy is centred on five towns: the county town of Shrewsbury, which is culturally and historically important and close to the centre of the county; Telford, a new town in the east which was constructed around a number of older towns, most notably Wellington, Dawley and Madeley, which is today the most populous; and Oswestry in the north-west, Bridgnorth just to the south of Telford, and Ludlow in the south. The county has many market towns, including Whitchurch in the north, Newport north-east of Telford and Market Drayton in the north-east of the county.
The Ironbridge Gorge area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, covering Ironbridge, Coalbrookdale and a part of Madeley. There are other historic industrial sites in the county, such as at Shrewsbury, Broseley, Snailbeach and Highley, as well as the Shropshire Union Canal.
The Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty covers about a quarter of the county, mainly in the south. Shropshire is one of England's most rural and sparsely populated counties, with a population density of 136/km2 (350/sq mi). The Wrekin is one of the most famous natural landmarks in the county, though the highest hills are the Clee Hills, Stiperstones and the Long Mynd. Wenlock Edge is another significant geographical and geological landmark. In the low-lying northwest of the county overlapping the border with Wales is the Fenn's, Whixall and Bettisfield Mosses National Nature Reserve, one of the most important and best preserved bogs in Britain. The River Severn, Great Britain's longest river, runs through the county, exiting into Worcestershire via the Severn Valley. Shropshire is landlocked and with an area of 3,487 square kilometres (1,346 sq mi) is England's largest inland county. The county flower is the round-leaved sundew.
Shropshire is connected to the rest of the United Kingdom via a number of road and rail links. Historically, rivers and later canals in the county were used for transport also, although their use in transport is now significantly reduced. The county's main transport hub is Shrewsbury, through which many significant roads and railways pass and join.

Is this Kingdom services? Oafish person said I littered whilst he was parked in his van watching me only to say he didn't say that, the ground was wet with no wind so if I'd dropped anything then it would not of moved 5' to under where a car or cars were parked and would still be in the same place. He agrees that he said he was sat parked up and watched me at the start then at 47 seconds says he didn't say it. Doesn't ever know what he's saying let alone seeing. One way to make money I suppose.

In Different Skies
In Different Skies
The video is a personal response to aspects of The First World War which have had an influence on my life and my perception of the conflict.
It is constructed in two parts with their own perspectives yet both are linked by the emphasis on the human experience of the war. The narrative runs through the 2 parts from the battles for the ocean to the land conflict and speaks as much for those left behind at home as it does for those caught up, and lost, on the front lines.
Part one is inspired by the experience of my Grandfather Gwilym James Heke who was an engineer in the merchant Navy before, and during, World War One. The ship on which he served was sunk in December 1916 by the German merchant raider SMS Möwe and he spent the rest of the war in a German prisoner of war camp.
The experiences of these events stayed with him for the rest of his life.
Many thousands of British and Allied ships were lost during the war and many hundreds of thousands of people were killed or taken prisoner.
When we remember the First World War we tend to think of the horror of the trenches and the land based conflict yet a large part of the war was lost and won at sea.
Part two takes its inspiration from the work of the First World War Poets. At the age of 14 we studied a poetry book called The Men Who Marched Away in English Literature at school. It featured the work of the war poets. I was deeply affected by reading these poems, particularly the work of Siegfried Sassoon and Wilfred Owen. I still have this school book and have used a selection of these poems as the narrative in this section. It forms a meditation on human experience and loss.

Are Air Tools Worth it? MountainWerks Episode 2
Are air tools worth it? (MountainWerks Episode 2) I'm in the process of turning my garage into a serious shop and I've been considering a air system, but are they really worth the trouble of buying the air compressor, the piping and fittings? I decided to do some research and find out. You'll learn the history of compressed air technology and find out how compressed air tools vs. electric tools match up. I ended up selecting a 3/4 in kit Maxline kit from Rapidair and cover the installation process.
