Victoria International Airport (IATA: YYJ, ICAO: CYYJ) serves Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It is 12 nautical miles (22 km; 14 mi) north northwest of Victoria on the Saanich Peninsula, with the bulk of the airport (including the passenger terminal) in North Saanich, and a small portion of the airfield extending into Sidney. The airport is run by the Victoria Airport Authority.

How to get from downtown Vancouver to downtown Victoria, taking BC Ferries and booking through the BC Ferries Connector.
BC Ferries Connector:
It is possible to plan your own way to the ferry terminal, but for people who don't know the route very well (like me) I believe this is a convenient and affordable solution.
Note - in the video I mention that there are different stops available to get off the bus in Victoria. It's also possible to chose a different location to get on the bus in Vancouver. There are a few different pick up locations across downtown. For me, heading to Pacific Central Bus Station was the easiest option though.

Flight Video from Kelowna to Victoria, British Columbia
In the afternoon of March 3, 2017, I take a flight from the snowy lakeside slopes of Kelowna, BC to the capital of British Columbia, Victoria.
I flew aboard Westjet Encore, some of the smaller propellor-based planes in their fleet. The flight was barely an hour and, sadly, due to the time of year, much of the flight was within the clouds. Here we can see the take-off and landing in Kelowna (YLW) and Victoria (YYJ), respectively, which still provided some gorgeous views of my home province.
Among the sites you'll see are much of the city of Kelowna, Okanagan Lake, Okanagan Mountain, Haro Strait, some of the Southern Gulf Islands, and the town of Sidney, before landing at Victoria International Airport.

NORTH SAANICH -- If you're looking for world-class service you will find it at Victoria International Airport.
The airport has taken top spot in the annual Airport Service Quality Awards for 2012 for airports with fewer than two-million passengers a year.
Nearly 300 airports participate in the rating administered by Airports Council International.
Thousands of passengers were asked to fill out questionnaires covering several criteria including cleanliness, ambiance, and staff courtesy.
YYJ says the award is a result of its staff.
In the coming months the airport will open a new Spinnaker's pub as well as a new staircase and escalator. The airport says the $8 million improvements should ensure world-class service for many years to come.
