A nice afternoon in Melbourne exploring Yan Yean Reservoir Park with my Jack Russell Steve.
Yan Yean Reservoir is the oldest water supply for the city of Melbourne, Australia. At the time of its completion in 1857 it was the largest artificial reservoir in the world. It is 30 kilometres (19 mi) north of the city and is built on the Plenty River, a tributary of the Yarra River. An embankment 9.5 metres (31 ft) high holds back 30,000 megalitres of water.
The reservoir is managed by Melbourne Water as part of the water supply system for Melbourne. #Reservoir #Dam #JackRussell

The seventh largest of ten reservoirs supplying the Melbourne metropolitan area with water, Yan Yean holds 1.7% of Melbourne's combined water storage capacity. It is Melbourne's oldest reservoir, and at the time of completion was the largest storage dam in the world. The dam was 82% full when this video was taken.

Me and my wife went out to Yan Yean Reservoir Park It's a great place to visit and look around. If you are interested in reflection, I highly recommend you to visit this place and take a rest. Nice place, good lake and walk space.
