Convercycle Bikes - One of the most innovative bicycles in 2018
Convercycle Bike - City Bike & Cargo Bike in one!
Convercycle = 60kg cargo capacity + the maneuverability and the simpliciy of a common bike!
Yes, it will be shipped with mudguards and a closable floor for the basket
This bike longs to carry things
Featured just last week, the Convercycle e-bike transforms between regular and cargo configurations. In regular-bike mode, its rear swing arm folds down/forward and locks in place, tucking the back wheel up inside of the built-in cargo rack. Once it's time to load up on groceries, baby seats or whatnot, that swing arm is folded back, extending the wheelbase and opening the rack up.
The folding process reportedly takes just three seconds, and can be done with one hand. Once in cargo mode, the bike can carry up to 60 kg (132 lb) in its rack, along with a rider weighing up to 120 kg (265 lb) on the seat. The bike itself tips the scales at 28 kg (62 lb), with its rack sitting at a width of 43 cm (17 inches) – that's no wider than the handlebars. (newatlas.com)

Global TV news interview after cycling 6,000km across Canada on an electric bicycle
This news item was the culmination of a two-month project I managed, from the original pitch to the bike company, to finding sponsors and organising the budget, to cycling and camping for 6,000km on my own, to arriving in Vancouver and securing the PR piece.
The video is a lunchtime news interview at Global TV in Vancouver. The news feature was broadcast live to all of British Columbia. Yes, I was really nervous at first, it was my first time on TV. But it was a real PR scoop and the directors at Procycle (the bike-makers) were extremely pleased with the free publicity for a brand-new product.
This wasn't an easy set-up: hundreds of people cycle across Canada every year. Not many do it in the wrong direction though, and I was probably the first to do it on an electric bike. I had to pitch it right and pitch it quick.
Check out evoxacrosscanada.wordpress.com for the full travel blog and tips on cycling across Canada.
Thanks for watching! Patrick.

Biking Across Canada Part 1
Here is the part 1 of my Cross Canada bike ride! I am showing the highlights of the first 5 provinces crossed: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario. I am now going to cross the next 5 provinces. Stay tuned for part 2 as soon as the rest of the trip is complete! Mariline Bervaldi supporting me as well!!
Hi everyone I want to take a moment to thank you for your interest on my video Sacha Pommepuy Crossing Canada part 1. As many of you know I was born with a hearing impairment, and started to have vision problem at the age of 14, these conditions as always been a challenge for me in many ways, and it is not easy to deal with the problem each and every day, and even harder as I cross the country on my bicycle. In this video I decided to show my reality each day in the most positive way. Of course I had to go through a lot of difficulty just to complete each day on this trip: my vision limitation, 35km-50km headwinds, putting my life on hold for 3 months, road safety, inconsistent weather, 50 pound trailer, numerous flat tires, camping in the dark with my eye condition, no supply stores for 100+km, wild animals, trying to film everything at the same time..... you name it! Yet I preferred to show time spent with people and friends instead of long deep solitudes. Yes biking each day is a mental and physical challenge in itself.
Thank you all for your kind support financially for the research.
Please note that the big part of the journey is on the trans Canada highway 5-9 hours a day.... so the entertainment part is limited! :)

RSVP Seattle to Vancouver BC Bike Ride 2013
So you want to live in Seattle! Get it on! If you like bicycling, the RSVP bicycle ride sponsored by the Cascade Bicycle club (Cascade.org) is an event I highly recommend. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced cyclist, there is something for everyone's enjoyment.
What did it cost? As a member of the Cascade Bicycle club, the RSVP registration was $115.00, $40 to transport your bike back to Seattle from Vancouver, BC. Then I spent approximately $50 on gas (Had a private support vehicle which wasn't necessary) and another $100 on food for the two-day trip. Plus - $200 for a two-night stay at hotel. So yes, it did cost money. However, I see the money spent as contributory to my overall health. I shudder to think how much I would spend in medical bills if I neglected much needed exercise. Health is wealth!
See hyperlink below for a short article regarding my take on the RSVP. Enjoy the video!
