Shopify Paid For My Trip To Puerto Vallarta, Mexico This Christmas! Pt. 1
Shopify paid for my trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for 7 days in December 2019. I was blessed with a better than expected quarter in jewelry sales in my Shopify store, LorenaYoung.com, which enabled me to take a well deserved vacation. Come with me on this three part series and explore the southern regions of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where the food is exquisite, the people are very kind, and the sightseeing is breathtaking.

Pack With Me For A Mexican Riviera Cruise
Hi Cruisers,
Ready to pack with me for a Mexican Riviera cruise on Royal Princess? Yes we are off to Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas an Mazatlan, so it's resort wear for the port days, and warmer clothes for the sea days. Wow, it seems like we just did this for our Caribbean cruise, but here we are. In this video you'll get an idea of how we packed for our cruise on Royal Princess. Will it be different than our Caribbean cruise? We think you'll be surprised.
Check out the latest cruise reviews tips and photos when you visit our sponsor:

We love packing carry on only for a cruise, but it can be challenging at times. This time around I decided to make a change. Hubby and junior are still going carry-on style, but me, well, not so much! I've got our big monster bag, and I'm packing lots of shoes. So, if you what to see what it looks like when I abandon the carry-on only strategy, then this is the video for you. We don't go over every item of clothing like we have in some other cruise packing videos, but you will get a good sense of what we are taking. If you stick around until the end, you'll see how it all fits into our carry on bags. If you have any cruise packing tips, please share them in the comments below.

A Day Trip to San Pancho, and a Vists With Cassandra Shaw of Cassandra Shaw Jewelry
In this episode we take A Day Trip to San Pancho, a Beach Community North of Puerto Vallarta. Then an interview with Cassandra Shaw, owner of Cassandra Shaw Jewelry in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
A couple of weeks back, I got an email from Polly who wanted me to do an episode on going to San Pancho. Actually, Polly gave me a great review on iTunes, and she made a request, and now Polly, I’m going to grant your wish and take a day trip with you to San Pancho. Actually formerly known as San Francisco, San Pancho is just 4 kilometers north of the hippy town of Sayulita. Sayulita is located about 38 kilometers north of the Puerto Vallarta Airport. Approximately a 45 minute drive.
Now I began my day trip at about 2 on a Saturday afternoon. I was on the Southside and looked for a bus to take me to Walmart. Okay, I know what you are thinking, Barry, aren’t we going to San Pancho?
Yes, we are going to San Pancho, so instead of me telling you all of the intricacies of bus taking in Puerto Vallarta, let’s review with JR. I have a clip of a conversation I had with him back in January about taking buses in Puerto Vallarta. Let’s see what he says about catching one of those buses from Vallarta, to those beach towns north. JR, Take it away!!!!...
¡Viva Mexico! (Pt. 59) - Bus Ride to Sayulita, Nayarit - for only 46 Pesos!
April 22, 2019 - 46 Pesos is about $3.00 CAD, and, frankly, we got what we paid for. But at least we got to Sayulita in decent time, despite the traffic jam in the jungle close to the Sayulita turn-off.
The entire route is just shy of 40km and normally takes just over an hour, considering all the stops along the way.
Where are we going, exactly? I'll keep you in suspense - though, frankly, I'd love to give some suspension to this ricketty ol' bus!

Royal Princess Mexico Cruise Vlog - Day 1 Start To Finish
Special thanks to Princess Cruises for hosting our family on this Medallion Class cruise.
Plan your next Princess voyage at princess.com
Hey Cruisers,
If you've ever wondered what day one of a Medallion Class Princess cruise is like, you're going to want to watch this video. We've essentially captured every event from day 1 of our Royal Princess Mexican Riviera cruise, and squeezed it down into just under 30 minutes.
We start the day in our pre-cruise hotel, the Crowne Plaza in San Pedro, then head to port for embarkation. Embarkation with Princess’s Ocean Medallion is incredibly smooth, and we were stunned by how fast we were onboard. From there, the fun begins, and we visit Royal Princess' adults only Sanctuary and Retreat Pool, and tour the incredible Lotus Spa.
Kids club check-in is a snap on Royal Princess, and we'll explain just how easy it is in this video. We'll also give you a look at our mini suite balcony stateroom on Royal Princess, and show you how I unpack at hyper speed. After a painless muster, it's time for a balcony sunset, and Royal Princess' absolutely off the hook sail away party. Then it's time for dinner in Royal Princess' Concerto dining room. After dinner, we play a few Ocean Medallion games and then embark on some epic shopping. Our visit to Effy Jewelry was super fun. The staff there is incredibly nice, and I had an absolute blast trying stuff on.
Thanks for following along! Stay tuned for our visits to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta.
See you on the high seas!

Mexico's Cutest Beach Town | Exploring Sayulita
The first thing you notice when you arrive in Sayulita is the VIBE. This little Mexican beach town has soaked up the energy of the laid-back surfers and sunbathers you see everywhere. Surfboards and bare feet are common sights, as well as golf carts which are the town’s main form of transportation. Sayulita is friendly, walkable, and chilled out. There’s a charm you feel from the people and colourful flags that hang above the narrow streets. Sayulita is a Pueblo Magico, a special designation given to places in Mexico that have a distinct cultural identity. Mexico is full of colour to begin with, but Sayulita is one of the most colourful towns I’ve visited in the whole country. When everywhere you look is bright and cheerful, you can’t help but feel bright and cheerful yourself.

Daytrip From Puerto Vallarta to San Sebastian del Oeste and Montebello Italian Restaurant
San Sebastian Del Oeste sits at about 4,850 feet above sea level and has a population of less than 1,000 according to the Wikipages.
First a little history, and I go to UNESCO web-page and let’s see what the folks at the United Nations Educational organization have to say about the place… On January 20, 1605, the mines of San Sebastián del Oeste were discovered, and consequently, the town was founded. Since then, the town has had a close relationship with its surroundings, which cover more than 1,970 square kilometers. The town itself now spreads over 37 partially settled hectares.
San Sebastian del Oeste was one the main mining centers in the New Spain during the Colonial period. By 1785, ten gold and silver reduction haciendas and nearly 30 mines had been established there. The small town became a city in 1812 and reached its full maturity around 1830. San Sebastian's productivity was halted by the 1910 military revolution, and soon after, foreign companies in charge of mining works moved to other areas. The last mine was abandoned 1921, and San Sebastian fell into complete oblivion. Nowadays, its main economic activities involve agriculture, stock-breeding, increasing tourism and to a lesser degree, forestry.
I had been hearing all about San Sebastian from all of my interviewees, JR well, everyone, and it was hot, Early October, so it was about time I headed for the hills.
There are many modes of transportation you can use to get to San Sebastian Del Oeste from Puerto Vallarta.
Vallarta Adventures runs tours up there, you can have a guide and a van from Superior Tours Vallarta take you up there, if you have rented a car for your stay, something I never do, but many insist and so if you have your own car, Well, that my friends is an excellent way to get to San Sebastian.
I checked my UBER App and yes, you can Uber up to San Sebastian for approximately 865 pesos each way, that’s like $45 each way,
You can get there from Puerto Vallarta by bus using the ATM Red Line Bus, but that bus will not take you directly into San Sebastian, you will have to get off that bus at a town called La Estancia. You catch the ATM bus that travels to Mascota and Talpa de Allende which take off from the corner of Lucerna and Havre Street, across from Plaza Los Glorias in Versallias, I have a map for you, and the bus leaves four times a day from there, from PV to Mascota and Talpa at 9 AM, 2:40 in the afternoon, 5:30 and 6 in the evening.
The trip should take about 2 hours and with the ATM bus, it should be about 6- or 7-dollars US, each way.
Then, when you arrive at La Estancia, a small town on the way to Mascota, you jump off the bus. Here you can grab a taxi to San Sebastián which should cost you about 200 pesos give or take, each way, like $10 US dollars. Make sure to check the schedule of the buses back to PV from La Estancia while you are there to coordinate the trip back. That means finish up in San Sebastian and find a cab to take you back to the bus stop in La Estancia, like by 4 ....listen to the podcast.

TAXCO THINGS TO DO, MEXICO | Mina Prehispánica de Taxco | Teleférico TAXCO | This PLACE IS AMAZING!!
Please watch: ???????? Is HONG KONG SAFE for TOURISTS? | 2019 HONG KONG PROTESTS | MY EXPERIENCE (with subtitles)
--~--
????????Welcome to another Mexico Travel video and the first of two videos from the amazing and beautiful TAXCO, MEXICO. It's tme to check some awesome things to do in Taxco! Taxco is located in Guerrero state, about 2.5hrs bus ride south of Ciudad de Mexico. It's another Pueblo Magico (Magic Town), with a Zocalo, great shopping (including silver) and best of all, spectacular views!
In this video I visit the Zocalo, Parroquia de Santa Prisca y San Sebastían (Church), local markets, Mina Prehispánica de Taxco (Silver mine beneath a hotel) and Teleferico Taxco (Cable Car).
Taxco is often forgotten about in terms of a travel destination, often passed over for the more popular and tourist orientated Guanajuato. But I loved it!
