In this video, I show you how big the GTR scene is in Japan. This was one big meetup that happened in the 90's.I had a 1992 R32 GTR in this video which can be sceen toward the beginning. The street racing scene is huge in Japan compared to America. The footage and audio came out pretty good considering it's over 20 years old and captured from VHS tapes. Godzilla towered over the Yokohama Bay Bridge in scenes from the Japanese film series featuring the giant radioactive beast. Travelling along one of its 12 lanes, high above ships transiting the water below, it’s easy to imagine staring into the monster’s eyes as he stomps through the ocean to wreak havoc in nearby Tokyo. Took the bus from Yokohama Station directly to Tokyo Big Sight for the Comic Market (C86, comiket, natsukomi). I wasn't expecting to go the route that takes you across the Yokohama Bay Bridge. I don't have a car and don't ever have a reason to go that way, so I was excited. Love big bridges.
