The concept of reincarnation has been around for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. Many religions, such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, and Jainism, to name a few, believe that we are reincarnated after death.
Now, while it is widely accepted that a reincarnated soul has no memory of its past life, there are some who believe that very young children may have access to some of those past memories. In fact, scientists who have studied the phenomenon found that 100% of cases occurred in young children. The average age of onset is between three and four years old.
Whether or not you believe in reincarnation and past life exploration, this list of 10 kids who remember their past selves will still shock you; some of these children have detailed memories that actually match up with historical events. Often, they know things that such young children would never have reason to know, or even have had the chance to learn!

10) Shanti Devi;
Born in Dehli, India, in 1926, Shanti Devi began to remember her previous life at age four. She told her parents that her real home was with her husband in Mathura, and even tried to run away to Mathura at the age of six.
9) Cameron MaCauley;
The case of Cameron MaCauley, a boy from Glasgow, saw him remembering his past life from the age of two. He stated that he had lived on Barra
8) Chanai Choomalaiwong;
Born in Thailand, Chanai began to tell his parents, at age three, that he had in fact been a teacher called Bua Kai and that he had been shot and killed as he rode his bike to school one day.
7) James Leininger;
James was born in 1998, and at the age of two, began to remember having a different life.
6) Ryan;
A boy from the Midwest, Ryan began having terrible nightmares at the age of four. When he turned five, he told his mother, Cyndi, that he “used to be someone else” and began begging her to take him home to Hollywood
5) Chase Bowman;
Chase Bowman is unique in that, if he actually remembered his past life, he never volunteered the information; it was discovered in a hypnotherapy session.
4) The Pollock Twins;
The case of the Pollock twins is a strange one, and no doubt their parents found it highly distressing…
3) P.M;
P.M was born 12 years after the death of his half-brother, give or take, and it was soon noticed that he had some strange and coincidental birthmarks.
2) Anonymous;
The boy in this story was just three years old in 2009, when he told his parents and doctors that he had once been someone else and knew where his grave was.
1) Sam Taylor;
And finally, there is the strange case of Sam Taylor, who seems to have been a reincarnation of his own grandfather! It sounds a bit complicated, for sure, but the evidence points that way!

Football fans sing anti-IRA chants at Celtic supporters in Sunderland - Daily Mail
There were ugly clashes between Sunderland and Celtic football fans prior to their pre-season friendly match yesterday, including outside a shop where Tommy Robinson was signing books in a red Rangers shirt (inset). One Celtic supporter was seen bleeding heavily on the pavement after a group of Celtic fans threw flares into the shop where the former EDL leader was. There were also scuffles close to the Stadium of Light where Celtic fans were targeted by supporters singing 'God Save The Queen' (pictured left). Riot police were forced to intervene (pictured top and bottom right) as fighting broke out in North Bridge Street in the city.

Study in the UK: Maria Fusco - Discover Art Writing in the UK
Maria Fusco is an art writer at the University of Edinburgh. Her research is concerned with fiction as critical practice, working across the registers of the fictive, critical & theoretical writing; editing, and independent publishing. These varied registers are mutual in nature, informing each other to build an expansive approach to what writing ‘might be’ with a contemporary art arena, and how it may manifest. To write through the art object.
Maria speaks of the emerging and expanding subject area of Art Writing in the UK and how technology gives people their own space to communicate to the general public.
The British Council US aims to create international opportunities for the people of the UK and other countries to build trust between them worldwide. The British Council US introduces the latest, most thrilling British arts to the US, bring people together to discuss international education, and advise young Americans who wish to study at UK universities.

The Law of Requital --- Dr. Ejaz Rasool, Glasgow UK
The Law of Requital
This video clip briefly explains the Law of Requital and its functioning as noted in the Quran (verse 45:22). For further details please read the books titled ‘The Life in The Hereafter: What does the Quran say?’ and ‘What is Islam?’ by G.A. Parwez. The books are available on Amazon and at Islamicdawn.Com.
The verse (45:22) states: ‘Allah created the heavens and the earth for just ends (Haqq), so that each self (Nafs) may find the recompense of what it has earned, and none is treated unjustly.’ There are three parts of this verse which need close reflection – in the first part the Quran states that the universe and the earth have been created as a reality (a fact, no illusion) with a view to ensure positive results as nothing is created in the universe without a purpose (verse 44:38-39), in the second part the Quran states that man by virtue of possessing freedom to choose and with the ability to make decisions is a responsible being and thus accountable for his or her deeds and finally, the system of the working of this Law of Requital is so precise that no one will be dealt with unjustly. Then the Quran explains the working of this law (start to end) by quoting examples form the past and inviting us to reflect on the guidance of the Quran with a view to create a ‘new self’ (8:24) by acquiring Eimaan e.g. (2:177) and then developing it through righteous deeds. The Quran states that the law functions so precisely that even the human thoughts leave an impression on the human self and nothing escapes this accountability. Related to this verse is another important point that the universe is for us i.e. humans and if we are not around then the universe is meaningless as we humans possess higher level of consciousness (higher intellect) as a consequence of which we participate in the creative activity of Allah in this world.
In the case of nations, the Law of Requital works in relation to their rise and fall as civilisations in the world. The Quran repeatedly draws our attention to the history of previous people who were known to the Arabs (towards whom the initial revelation was made), but it then states that any nation which goes against the permanent values will ultimately ruin itself through their own hands and the destruction comes from the direction they may not perceive e.g. see verse (40:82-85).
The question which may arise in our mind is ‘Why human beings do not wish to take responsibility for their actions in life and can the awareness of the existence of the Law of Requital affect human behaviour positively?’ One thing we need to keep in our mind is that the Law of Requital functions 24/7 whether we like it or not, or are aware of its existence or not, just like e.g. if we are not aware of the burning by fire, the fire will still burn. The Quran emphatically declares that the law plays an effective role in the development of the human self in this life and this influences the life of the hereafter – indeed with the understanding of the working of this law within human self and in the world lies an evidence based certainty that there exists Allah, the Quran is not a product of the human intellect and that the life of the hereafter is an evidence based fact. Its awareness makes us realise our trait of the freedom to choose and the ability to make decisions which affect us as well as others. The realisation that no one can escape this law gives us assurance that the universe has a higher purpose and a grand future awaits those who develop their self in this life and this developed self achieves immortality to participate in the further creative activity of the hereafter. So essentially, we achieve far higher freedom of action in this life and we get rid of the fear of our death and make efforts for the good of whole of mankind – obviously this cannot take place all of a sudden but commences from our individual efforts. This is why the Quran declares that this ‘paradise’ achieved through Eimaan and righteous deeds no one can take it away from us as this is what the self becomes. This state of the self achieves assurance of the hereafter (2:4). In this life fully understanding the law of requital economizes our efforts as we avoid the pitfalls of this life and also create a reality which meets the requirements of the life of the hereafter. Without understanding this, human beings will find it difficult to accept full responsibility for their deeds in this life.

Old Photographs Of Dennistoun Glasgow Scotland
Tour Scotland wee video of old photographs of Dennistoun, a district of the city of Glasgow. It is situated north of the River Clyde in the east end of the city. Unable to attract the middle class residents intended by its original developers, it established itself as a respectable working class area for families. After the Second World War, the area's Victorian tenements were refurbished and extended rather than replaced with high-rise modernist blocks as in other working class districts such as neighbouring Calton and Parkhead, and this, coupled with proximity to the city centre and Caledonian and Strathclyde universities, has contributed to its gentrification in recent years; many of its residents are now students and young professionals. William Miller was born on August 1810 and lived in Dennistoun. He was a Scottish poet best known for the nursery rhyme Wee Willie Winkie. Miller, known as The Laureate of the Nursery suffered from ill health and was unable to become a surgeon and instead took up woodturning and cabinet making. At the same time he began writing poetry and children's rhymes, mainly in the Scots language. His poetry was published in various works including the Whistle binkie books. In 1842, Whistle-binkie: Stories for the Fireside was published and contained the rhyme Wee Willie Winkie. The poem would go on to become known in other countries, in translation, and made Miller famous at the time. In 1871, Miller's leg became ulcerated and he had to retire from cabinet making. The leg became infected and led to his death in 1872 aged 62. By then Miller was destitute and was buried at Tollcross. Later a memorial to Miller was erected on the Glasgow Necropolis.

------------------------
Gordon Ramsay is a Scottish born British chef with his restaurants currently holding 14 Michelin stars. An injury prematurely put an end to any hopes of a promising career in football and he went back to college to complete a course in hotel management and trained with some of the world’s leading chefs, such as Albert Roux and Marco Pierre White in London, and Guy Savoy and Joël Robuchon in France. He became chef of Aubergine in London, which within three years, was awarded two Michelin stars. He set up his first wholly owned and namesake restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, which quickly received the most prestigious accolade in the culinary world – three Michelin stars. Today, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is London’s longest-running restaurant to hold this prestigious title, and Ramsay is one of only four chefs in the UK to maintain three stars. He has opened a string of successful restaurants across the globe. He has also become a star of the small screen both in the UK and internationally. He is also an author of a number of books, many of which have become bestsellers around the world.
-------------------------
Childhood & Early Life
Gordon Ramsay was born on November 8, 1966 in Renfrewshire, Scotland, to Gordon a man with no permanent profession and Helen Cosgrove, a nurse. He was raised in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England from the age of 5.
The second of four children, he has an older sister, Diane, while Ronnie and Yvonne were his younger siblings. His early life was marked by abuse and neglect from his father, a hard-drinking womanizer.
He played football and was first chosen to play under-14 football at age 12. He was selected to play for Warwickshire. His football career came to an end because he was plagued by injuries.
------------------
Career
By the time he was nineteen, he became serious about acquiring a culinary qualification and Ramsay enrolled at North Oxfordshire Technical College, sponsored by the Rotarians, to study Hotel Management.
In the early 1980s, he worked at the Wroxton House Hotel and the Wickham Arms. He moved to London, where he worked in a series of restaurants.
He worked for the temperamental Marco Pierre White at Harvey's for nearly 3 years and decided to study French Cuisine. On White’s advice, he began working for Albert Roux at Le Gavroche in Mayfair.
After working at Le Gavroche for a year, Roux invited him to work with him at Hotel Diva, a ski resort in the French Alps, as his number two and later moved to Paris.
He continued in France for three years, and benefited from the mentorship of Guy Savoy. He, then, accepted the less stressful work of a personal chef on the private yacht, Idlewild, based in Bermuda.
He returned to London in 1993 and was offered the head chef position and 10% share in the Rossmore, by White’ business partners and restaurant was renamed, Aubergine and won a Michelin star soon.
Wanting to own and run a restaurant himself, he left the partnership in 1997 and opened a restaurant in Chelsea - Restaurant Gordon Ramsay - which went on to earn three Michelin stars in four years.
He went on to establish a successful chain of restaurants not just in England but in Glasgow, Ireland, Dubai, Tokyo, New York City, Florida, and Los Angeles, in the next 15 years.
He appeared on the television series, Faking It, in 2001, helping the prospective chef, a burger flipper named Ed Devlin, learn the trade. This episode won the BAFTA for Best Factual TV Moment.
Between 2004 and 2007, Ramsay appeared in the British television series, Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, aired on Channel 4, and saw the chef troubleshooting failing restaurants over a one week period.
In 2012, he opened The Fat Cow in Los Angeles, at The Grove, a shopping area popular with tourists that folks could go to all the time, relax and enjoy a terrific meal.
Hell's Kitchen, a reality show, on ITV1, saw Ramsay attempt to train ten British celebrities to be chefs in a restaurant on Brick Lane which opened to the public during the show.
He adapted Hell’s Kitchen to suit American audience in a series similar to the original British series and also went on to host a U.S version of Kitchen Nightmares between2007 and 2010.
In 2010, he was a producer and judge on the US version of MasterChef, starred in a travelogue about his visit to India, Gordon's Great Escape and hosted the series, Ramsay's Best Restaurant.
