Walking in BRISTOL / UK ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
Bristol in the southwest of England known for its maritime history. The city was a starting place for early voyages of exploration to the New World.
On this tour we explore nicely walkable centre. We start at the St James' Priory which is near the Bristol Coach Station. Quickly we go to the shopping area Broadmead where we check several shopping streets and also The Bearpit city park.
We head south to the Castle Park and cross the Castle bridge and get back to the old city. There it's a bit quieter this afternoon as most of the action happens at the former city-centre port, the Harbourside. The old harbour's warehouses now contain restaurants, shops.
The riverside stroll continues for a while. We follow the feeder canal and the River Avon. It's a relaxing weekend atmosphere with people and families walking around. We enjoy the path for a little while longer, pass the Brunel's SS Great Britain and finish our tour near the Bristol Marina and rowing club.
Note: I missed catching Banksy's The Girl With Pearl Earring on video on a wall near the marina though took a photo after when walking back. It's coming sometime to the website. A second tour walking back from Millenium square will be on the channel at some point

Perfect score on Geoguessr (UK Version) in 19:04 - Round 3, you're kidding me.
Thought I'd have a stab at beating my seemingly untouchable 12 minute record for a perfect score on the United Kingdom version of Geoguessr. Not a bad effort all things considered but a lot of work to do so you can expect more attempts to come.

Red lights in sky. Bristol, England
On Saturday 13th September 2008 at approx 10pm in Bristol England 4 silent red lights appeared in the sky. They seamed to be traveling around independently going round in circles, starting off very bright then travelling upwards one by one and fading until they were out of sight ,then they would reappear in the same place every time and group together before traveling away from each other and fading away again. It lasted for about 20 minutes. The last light travelled very high into the sky before fading away.
Bristol Waterfront - Finding Time To Shoot
A look at Bristol Waterfront near M-Shed on a cold, crisp and clear day with beautiful light and fantastic blue skies. This area of Bristol became a floating harbour in 1809 preventing tidal influences and is now a vibrant social, cultural and historical area of the city.
Footage from my filming today at Filmed on the Panasonic DVX200 and recorded on the Atomos Shogun Inferno in 4K and rescaled to FHD during the edit. This was edited and graded from log footage entirely in Davinci Resolve. I have gone for a realistic look here rather than anything too filmic. Couple of shot moving in this at longer zoom lengths! I seriously need a more stable tripod for the gear I used today. Any suggestions?

Walking in HULL / UK ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
The city of Hull, also called Kingston upon Hull, is a port city South of York in England.
We start our walk at the city centre on the Victoria Square. We walk around the centre a bit which is rather empty this evening because Hull also hosts Europes biggest fun fair. The fair is happening at the moment.
From the centre with sights like the Princess Quay and Hull Minster we also see the old town with the Scale Lane and some old bars around there. We miss the marina this time. Walking along the River Hull it is getting darker so we end this walk on the Scale Lane Swing Bridge which is an interesting construction.

Morpheus VDIFF 216ft Avon Gorge Bristol UK
Morpheus VDIFF 216ft Avon Gorge Bristol UK
Rockfax Description:
A long and popular trip that has masses of interesting climbing punctuated with good belay ledges. The climbing is fairly tough in places but these sections are well-protected. Begin at a short wall just right of the thin crack at the start of Gronk.
1) 4a, 28m. Boulder up the short steep wall to a big ledge and a good nut runner. Wander right to an easy-angled blocky corner. Follow the corner for a couple of moves until easy-angled slabs and short walls lead back leftwards to a belay in a little bay at a tall white-stained flake.
2) 16m. Layback up to the top of the flake and move right and up. Continue up short walls slightly right until a move left gains easy ground and a block covered belay ledge which is below a corner with an intermittent wide crack in it.
3) 10m. Climb the corner to an old peg and overcome the next section of the corner by moving right and up. Continue to a good stance on the right. Climbing the corner and wide crack direct is much harder.
4) 12m. Move up to below a small bush and then climb diagonally right to a ledge and the top. © Rockfax

My first go at video editing, I only had a very small amount of footage. I had a few issues on the day; I was crapping my pants at the height as it was my first multi-pitch climb! I didn't have space to sort my tripod and pan head out half way up a cliff face funny enough and I haven't got a PZ-E1 for my camera yet so the zooming in and out isn't good. Still a useful exercise in familiarising myself with editing software.
