Since he became the youngest Lord of Mayor of Sheffield last year, Magid Magid has been no stranger to controversy. From announcing that Donald Trump was banned from coming to the city to accusations that he's undermining the traditional role of the Lord Mayor with his irreverent behaviour.
In May his term will come to an end. He'll also step down as the Green councillor for Sheffield's Broomhill and Sharrow Vale ward. But before he does, ITV Calendar's Adam Fowler went to spend a day in the life of Magid.

Sheffield United Football Club is a professional football club in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. They compete in League One, the third tier of English football. The football club was formed in 1889 as an offshoot of Sheffield United Cricket Club, and are nicknamed The Blades due to Sheffield's history of steel production. The club have played their home games at Bramall Lane since their formation in 1889.
Sheffield United won the League in 1898 and the FA Cup in 1899, 1902, 1915 and 1925. They were beaten finalists in the FA Cup in 1901 and 1936, and reached the semi-finals in 1961, 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2014. They reached the semi-finals of the League Cup in 2003.

2017 Christmas Market in Sheffield, UK. This year everything operated early, such as Christmas Light switch on in Manchester and Sheffield. No matter what the size of different Christmas markets, I enjoy the time in the market. Tbh, I can't deal with the cold here in England, but I'm still go for mulled wine and the food in the market. That's a must-do activity in the UK.

Usually we head over to Birmingham, but who knew that Nottingham had it's own German Christmas Markets all along! They probably have around 50 stalls give or take, so it's not exactly huge, but all bases were covered (Mulled wine, bavarian beer, rides and strange looking wooden German crafts).

A Christmas market, also known as Christkindlmarkt, Marché de Noël, Christkindlesmarkt, Christkindlmarket, and Weihnachtsmarkt, is a street market associated with the celebration of Christmas during the four weeks of Advent. These markets originated in Germany, but are now being held in many other countries. Ecclesall Road is a road in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, that runs for about 3.6 miles (5.8 km) south-west from Sheffield's city centre under the number A625.
At Banner Cross, where the house numbers reach 1001, the road name changes to Ecclesall Road South and numbering restarts. Ecclesall Road, as a named road, finishes at Whirlow, although the course of the road continues as Hathersage Road.
From the city centre to Banner Cross the road is home to many pubs and student accommodation.
In the suburb of Ecclesall, one of the UK's wealthiest districts, the road is bordered by rather large properties.
Ecclesall Road is itself noted for its vast range of restaurants,[6] pubs, bars cafes and shops, including many one-off boutiques.
The Ecclesall Road shopping area (formally known as Endcliffe Market is mostly on the South side of the road, and also includes Hunters Bar and Sharrow Vale Road.
As the road nears the City Centre, there is a large Marks and Spencers, gym and a Waitrose supermarket. The north side of the road is residential, containing the Hannover Flats and the districts of Broomhall, The Groves and Ranmoor.
It has a large student population, mostly from Sheffield Hallam University, who have a campus on nearby Collegiate Crescent, although there are some flats owned by the University of Sheffield. The road also runs past Endcliffe Park and close to Ecclesall Woods.
Notable residents of Ecclesall Road are the following people: Branwyn 'The Blitz' Harris - a famous wrestler who moved there in the mid 50's from rural Mexico; Befferz, a famous Viner and Hayley Holden, a filmmaker who got nominated for a Palme d'Or in 2006 for her film 96/98.
