In this segment it provides a comprehensive software solution for the ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) division and for the Road asset management. An example is the modular system, SMARTiC, which can be used for the collection, processing and visualization of data. This unique system can receive data from external sources, such as the police or the ambulance services, but also from telematic devices such as detectors and camera systems and can send them on to the traffic control centre. As a result, SMARTiC can generate pre-defined traffic situations, control traffic via variable message signs and provide drivers with traffic information. The collected data is no less important for modelling traffic situations and statistical evaluations.
