Car Camera - Larimer County 43 - Glen Haven to Estes Park, CO . 2013 ( コロラド州ラリマー郡道43号線 )
NOTE: Larimer County lists this as County Road 43 (CR43)... it is shielded with the classic County Highway pentagon.
Today we go from Glen Haven to Estes Park, Colorado, U.S.A. along Larimer County Highway 43. It is a beautiful ride when traveling in either direction... going into Estes valley is always awesome and when reaching the mighty tight switchbacks while traveling towards Glen Haven, one realizes how tight of a valley Glen Haven is really in ahead.
Speaking of those crazy switchbacks, they are marked at a crazy speed of 15mph :p . So at the beginning of the video, we go slow, then go a little faster, then go really slow, then much, must faster at the end (the last half - the really pretty part). So thank you for your patience making it through the slow parts ^_^ .
As a side note, Glen Haven is a real cool place to visit when up in this area... so please enjoy the ride and you ever do stop by Glen Haven, visit the Pony Tracks Trading Post to see a cool store and one heck of a owner :) ! The general store also has some nice sweets to eat, too ^_~ ... enjoy the hummingbirds ^^ !

Our FIRST TIME DRY CAMPING at the Xscapers Annual Bash!
We wanted to attend the 2019 Xscapers Annual Bash this year but there was one thing we hesitated about... it was dry camping! If you've been watching us for awhile you know that we haven't dry camped before so this was our first time! It was a great place to test it out since we knew we'd be surrounded by hundreds of other experienced RVers. We did pretty well but did find some problems with our generator and that we're not so great with conserving water. Follow along to see how we did and get a glimpse into what the Xscapers are all about!

Who is Getaway Couple?
We're Rae and Jason! In July 2017, we downsized from a three-bedroom house in Los Angeles to a 400 square foot fifth wheel to travel the United States. We've decided to document our journey from the beginning to show you the ups and downs of this lifestyle. It's been a tough start but definitely rewarding! Follow along to see what kind of adventures we get into.

ABOUT US
Welcome to Grand Adventure, a YouTube channel that focuses on RV-centric outdoor activities including not only of course camping, but also mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing and more, nearly always filmed in stunning 4K.
We're based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and invite you to come along as we travel all around the western U.S. My wife Patricia and I, and our dogs Zoe and Maggie are avid boondockers, so you'll seldom find us in RV parks or even dry campgrounds. Instead, we're usually camped in some of the most remote and beautiful spots that you could ever pull a travel trailer into. And unlike most other RV channels on YouTube, we're not RV dealers or full-timers -- we're weekend warriors just like you!
We'll provide tips and insight on equipping and maintaining your RV, trip planning and travel videos to make your next adventure a grand one indeed! So, subscribe to make sure that you catch every episode, and remember...life is nothing but a Grand Adventure!

Car Camera - RMNP, CO - Beaver Meadows to Fall River Entr. Sta(s). . 2013 ( コロラド州ロッキーマウンテン国立公園 )
On this drive we journey out of Estes Park, Colorado, U.S.A. and go into the neighboring Rocky Mountain National Park. We don't go too high into the park on this trip... we skip by the highest continuous paved road in the U.S., Trail Ridge Road (U.S. Highway 34) - instead we go in one & out of the other two east entrances into the Park: the Beaver Meadows and Fall River Entrances.
The toll fee into the park itself is $20 but is good for one week as long as you keep your receipt... once in, what a view! Talking about American beauty! The splendor of these grand mountains can never get old - and never does it for me. The trailheads, the pullouts on the side of the road, the green flora - each unique to it's own... a person could life a lifetime at this place. If you have the money, you can ;) !.....
Thank you Enos Mills for urging the preservation of this wonderful place!:
...but we flat-landers can't stay here for that long. We have so get out on the long, straight pavement stretches of highways. These curves and slow speeds drives us nuts eventually :p ~
Anyways, this drive will take us to the western terminus of U.S. Highway 36 at Deer Ridge Junction and back on U.S. Highway 34 at the end. Please enjoy the ride ^^ !
This is a continuation of the video Car Camera - Estes Park, CO - CO 7 City Limits to Beaver Meadows Entr. Sta.:

1:08 - Bear Lake Road is on the left.
2:06 - Upper Beaver Meadows is on the left.
6:25 - The Deer Mountain Trailhead is on the right and just ahead is Deer Ridge Junction. U.S. Hwy. 36 terminates, U.S. Highway 34 East is on the right and U.S. Hwy. 34 West (Trail Ridge Road) continues ahead.
6:44 - Eastbound on Fall River Road (U.S. Hwy. 34 East).
10:01 - Fall River bridge.
10:07 - Old Fall River Road, Alluvial Fan (site of the 1982 Lawn Lake Flood) and Endovalley is on the left.
14:04 - Aspenglen is on the right. The Fall River Entrance Station is just after this intersection.
14:21 - Leaving Rocky Mountain National Park.
