A Bit More Hua Hin Flooding
Before I start, I put the card back into the dashcam incorrectly, so I missed the best shots of the flooding.
I had to go to Black Mountain this afternoon. I went to the top of Soi 94, and the took the road to the Pala-U Road. i.e. past the new Immigration Building and May's Kitchen.
OK, I've led a sheltered life, but what I saw was the worst flooding I've ever seen:
First shock was the Immigration Island. There was significant flooding all around the new building, and water was flowing from there, and across the road at a rate of knots. This scene was repeated along every new development along that road.
Second shock were a few buildings not on developments, where the water must have been at least waist high inside the buildings - quite an eye opener, and I would not have expected this here.
The video I've taken was 2 hours later on my way home, and workmen had been doing their bit - presumably clearing drains.
