???? ROAD TRIP ACROSS USA 2018 ❗❗❗
???? I had dream to drive across the USA, from coast to coast. Of course, the preparations were essential, because I have never been to USA and this country was completely unknown to me. Approximately six months before the road trip each day of the trip was thoroughly planned.
???? During the preparations there were plenty of questions regarding the car rental, accommodation, food cost, whether you need a visa, insurance, where to book an affordable flight tickets from Europe, etc. Summer 2018 I made this dream a reality. The trip was 5 week long and we managed to cover more than 11 000 km across 18 states. Our starting point was New York ???? and the end destination was Los Angeles. What happened in-between is hard to put in words, so I tried to video record as much as possible to depict this epic road trip through video filming.
???? The purpose of this video is informative and entertainment. Every Sunday starting from 30.12.2018 I will be uploading videos from this road trip.
????If you like the video please ❗share❗ it with your friends! ????

New York, New York - The Empire State Building twinkles for the Mets advancing to the NLCS HD (2015)
The Empire State Building is a 102-story skyscraper located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, on Fifth Avenue between West 33rd and 34th Streets. It has a roof height of 1,250 feet (381 m), and with its antenna spire included, it stands a total of 1,454 feet (443 m) high. Its name is derived from the nickname for New York, the Empire State. It stood as the world's tallest building for nearly 40 years, from its completion in early 1931 until the topping out of the original World Trade Center's North Tower in late 1970. Following the September 11 attacks in 2001, the Empire State Building was again the tallest building in New York, until One World Trade Center reached a greater height in April 2012. The Empire State Building is currently the fifth-tallest completed skyscraper in the United States and the 25th-tallest in the world. It is also the fifth-tallest freestanding structure in the Americas. When measured by pinnacle height, it is the fourth-tallest building in the United States.
The Empire State Building is generally thought of as an American cultural icon. It is designed in the distinctive Art Deco style and has been named as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. The building and its street floor interior are designated landmarks of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, and confirmed by the New York City Board of Estimate. It was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1986. In 2007, it was ranked number one on the AIA's List of America's Favorite Architecture.
The building is owned by the Empire State Realty Trust, of which Anthony Malkin serves as Chairman, CEO and President. In 2010, the Empire State Building underwent a $550 million renovation, with $120 million spent to transform the building into a more energy efficient and eco-friendly structure. The Empire State Building is the tallest Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-certified building in the United States, having received a gold LEED rating in September 2011.
Taking a Trip to Petra Island

The Best Planned City: Olmsted, Vaux, and the Buffalo Park System
From the Library of American Landscape History
Explore the development of the parks and parkways that Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux designed for Buffalo, New York, beginning in 1868.
A thirteen-minute documentary inspired by the book by author Francis R. Kowsky, published by UMass Press in association with LALH June 2013. The Best Planned City is the third film in the new LALH series North America by Design, available to a worldwide audience.
At the time, this development of connected green spaces as a park system was a revolutionary idea. Olmsted and Vaux's plans drew national and international attention; they were displayed at the Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia, where Olmsted declared Buffalo the best planned city, as to its streets, public places, and grounds, in the United States, if not in the world.

Cheap Shipping Container Houses ::
shipping container art school in korea by LOT EK
~
american firm LOT-EK has completed the ‘APAP open school’ in anyang, korea. eight shipping containers are stacked and cut along a 45-degree angle
to create a fishbone pattern generating an arrow-like volume that is lifted three meters above the landscape. positioned long the river’s edge,
two boxes are inclined upwards and downwards to reach the earth and sky, allowing visitors a recreational space by the waterfront.
its visual graphic treatment of bright yellow and black marks the school as a focal point and place of gathering, relaxing and contemplation within
the urban fabric of the city.
at ground level, the steep-plate footprint of the hovering shipping container structure becomes a public amphitheater which takes advantage of the
natural and existing sloping topography. the upper section engages with the open space below promoting an atmosphere of community gathering.
the vertical element provide a pedestrian path inviting visitors to the top levels. the second floor consists of one large open, multipurpose space that functions
as a meeting room and exhibition space with two studios for artists-in-residence. it carves two front walls along the north-west axis creating a dramatic overhang
which pierce the solid structure revealing a series of peep-holes.
