Airboat Rides in Florida: Fast But Not So Furious
Airboats are large, flat bottom boats that use an aircraft propeller for propulsion. Because of their shape, they are perfect for gliding over the saw grass and vegetation present in the Everglades. Capable of reaching speeds of 70mph, they are an adrenaline junkies' dream. Most companies also offer slower paced eco tours suited for classrooms or large families.

MAN GRABS GIANT SNAKE FROM THE WATER
Man Grabs Giant Anaconda by the Tail. A group of fishermen tried several times to drag and pull a massive anaconda out of the water from their boat. The footage has got them in a bit of trouble recently because the careless act has been ruled in violation of wildlife protection laws. Does this constitute a criminal act and if so what do you think the penalty should be?

What is the Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) Program?
The AFF course is the unsurpassed method of training if you are interested in jumping with your own equipment and ultimately becoming a licensed skydiver. The AFF course is the most advanced skydiving training course offered and is endorsed by the United States Parachute Association (USPA).
On your first AFF Level, you will receive 4-6 hours of ground training, followed by the jump utilizing your own equipment and jumping with two USPA certified instructors. Under normal conditions, you will jump the same day as you complete the ground training.
The AFF Course/Program is structured in a two-phase training progression program. Phase I consists of eight jumps, where you will be jumping with an instructor on each level. Each one of the eight jumps is regarded to as learning categories (modules). Each category features a performance objective that must be accomplished prior to advancing to the next level. Completing Phase I qualifies you to make solo skydives under the supervision of an AFF qualified Instructor. At this point, you will be allowed to skydive on your own as you will now be on Student Solo Status.
What you can expect on your first jump
After reaching the desired altitude (12,500'a.g.l.), it is time to free-fall with your two instructors who will grasp your harness on each side. Upon exiting the aircraft, you will quickly accelerate to over 120 miles per hour for up to 60 seconds in free fall! You will then pull the deployment handle (ripcord) and enjoy a breath taking five minute flight under your own parachute. Yes, these parachutes truly fly and you get to steer your parachute during your descent. We will help you guide your parachute via radio communication and control commands for a safe landing. After the skydive, you will be critiqued and given a First Jump Certificate and a skydiving logbook. As you pass to the next learning level, your instructor will outline the next lesson plan and explain the new objectives.

Go Ape zip-line death: Woman falls 40-feet from zipline and dies at Delaware park - TomoNews
BEAR, DELAWARE — Officials are investigating the death of a 59-year-old woman who died at a popular adventure park after falling from a zipline.
The unidentified 59-year-old was reportedly visiting the Go Ape adventure course in Lum Ponds State Park on Wednesday afternoon. She was riding one of the park’s ziplines when she fell some 40-feet to her death, WPVI-TV ABC Action News reported, citing police.
On its website, Go Ape says it gives patrons a 30-minute safety lesson before they venture into the park. During this time they teach visitors how to use equipment — including pulleys and harnesses — and other safety gear. After this visitors are left to enjoy the park by themselves, but instructors patrol the forest regularly.
Police are still investigating the circumstances of the woman’s death. WPVI-TV ABC Action News reports that paramedics performed CPR while traveling to a local hospital following the accident where she was later pronounced dead.

KILLER WHALES - UNREAL ENCOUNTER ON KAYAK michie_1111
August 26, 2015: San Juan Islands, WA- Heading out of Roche Harbor into Open Bay to circle Henry Island. One kayak(me + guide) head out at 9:00 am. Ended up being the luckiest day ever & the thrill of a lifetime!! I was scared (but not fearing for my life scared), adrenaline rush times a thousand, a lot excited, a lot in disbelief at our luck, mostly in complete awe. We had no idea the whales were in the waters so close to us when we headed out; this was simply great timing plus PURE LUCK. We moved our kayak as close to the cliffs and in the kelp as possible to be out of their way and stopped paddling while we watched them play and move through Open Bay. But they were everywhere and we ended up being in the route of a few as seen. Keep in mind however that our kayak was no more obtrusive than a piece of driftwood floating on the surface. Must have been over 30 whales playing, jumping. I saw one breach completely out of the water. It was amazing, incredible, unbelievable –A DREAM COME TRUE!!! I literally couldn't believe what I was seeing. Three passed right under our kayak, one looked right at us. The one that looked at us had her baby with her(look close).... Such a magical, spiritual, inspiring encounter with these extraordinary whales/dolphins. They are massive and move swiftly. Their agility is remarkable. The dorsal fins on the males are mammoth- OMG! This was a pod/pods known as the Southern Resident Orcas of the Salish Seas or North Pacific Ocean. They are an endangered community of whales and currently protected under the Endangered Species Act. I heard it was L-Pod with a few of K, but maybe J too as they are the ones with babies of which we saw 2 or 3. I read on the Center for Whale Research's website that this was a sort of mini super pod passing by San Juan Island this particular morning. How lucky were we??? This was seriously one of the most amazing days of my life. It was a once in a lifetime experience that I'll treasure forever. I was excited beyond belief and I almost felt like I had superhuman powers after our morning kayaking adventure, haha. It really is transformative to have such an experience. I hope you enjoy and pass along! THIS IS SEAWORLD...
After Woman Falls To Her Death at Cliff, Experts Warn Against Flip-Flops
After a woman fell to her death from a California cliff when she tripped on her flip-flops, authorities are warning against wearing the footwear in rugged terrain. Lorena Barrera, 21, was celebrating her first day in the Golden State when she tried to take a selfie at the edge of a San Pedro overhang. Instead, she plunged 100 feet to her death. A review by Inside Edition found that dozens of tourists are killed each year when they fall from wet, slippery surfaces.
