History of Aga Khan Palace Pune in Hindi || aga khan palace information in hindi
आगा खान पैलेस' पुणे के यरवदा इलाके मे स्थित एक ऐतिहासिक भवन है।
- इसे सुल्तान मोहम्मद शाह आगा खान 'तृतीय' ने 1892 में बनवाया था।
- इस महल में 'महात्मा गांधी' को उनके अन्य सहयोगियों के साथ 9 अगस्त 1942 से 6 मई 1944 तक नजरबंद रखा गया।
- यहीं से बापू 'भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन' के संचालन की रणनीति बनाते थे। यहां कुछ सालों के लिए स्वर कोकिला सरोजिनी नायडू को भी नजरबंद रखा गया था।
दिलचस्प है महल के बनने की कहानी
- आगा खान पैलेस 6.5 हेक्टेयर में फैला हुआ है। इसे बनवाने के पीछे का मकसद पुणे के स्थानीय लोगों को आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान करना था।
- साल 1892 में पुणे सूखे की मार झेल रहा था। लोग दाने-दाने को मोहताज थे। उनके पास न तो काम था और न ही पैसे थे।
- लोगों की बदहाली को देखते हुए सुल्तान मोहम्मद शाह आगा खान ने इस महल को बनाने का निर्णय लिया, इससे कई लोगों को जीविकोपार्जन का साधन मिला।
- इतिहासकारों के मुताबिक उस दौरान महल के निर्माण की जरूरत नहीं थी, लेकिन लोगों को काम देने के लिए इस महल का निर्माण कार्य शुरू कर दिया गया।
- आजादी के बाद साल 1969 में आगा खान 'चतुर्थ' ने इसे भारत सरकार को दान में दे दिया।
बापू के लिए 'अनलकी' था यह महल
- आगा खान महल को देश के सात आश्चर्य में से एक माना जाता है, लेकिन बापू इस महल को अपने लिए सबसे ज्यादा अनलकी मानते थे।
- इसी महल में उनके सबसे पुराने और करीबी सहायक महादेव भाई देसाई का दिल का दौरा पढ़ने से निधन हुआ था। उस दौरान देसाई की उम्र 50 वर्ष की थी।
- आज भी महल के गार्डन में महादेव देसाई का समाधि स्थल मौजूद है।
- बापू के जीवन की दूसरी सबसे दुखद घटना यानी की उनकी पत्नी कस्तूरबा गांधी का निधन भी इसी महल में 22 फरवरी 1944 को हुआ था।
- कस्तूरबा की समाधि भी देसाई की समाधि के नजदीक ही बनाई गई है। बाद में गांधीजी की अस्थियां भी इसी स्मारक के गार्डन में रखी गई थी।
संग्रहालय में हैं बापू की कई यादें
- भवन में एक संग्रहालय भी है, इसमें बापू के जीवन से जुड़ी तस्वीरों को यादों के रूप में संजो कर रखा गया है।
- यहां बापू और कस्तूरबा के व्यक्तिगत उपयोग की वस्तुएं जैसे उनकी चप्पलें, चरखा, बर्तन, किताबें, कपड़े और चश्मा भी रखा गया है।

Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba Gandhi and his secretary Mahadev Desai were interned in the palace from 9 August 1942 to 6 May 1944, following the launch of Quit India Movement. Kasturba Gandhi and Mahadev Desai died during their captivity period in the palace and have their Samadhis located over there. Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi have their memorials located in the same complex, near Mula river.[4]
In 1969, Aga Khan Palace was donated to the Indian people by Aga Khan IV as a mark of respect to Gandhi and his philosophy.[1] Today the palace houses a memorial on Gandhi where his ashes were kept. The then prime minister Indira Gandhi had visited the place in 1974 where she allotted a sum of ₹200,000 (US$3,100) every year, for its maintenance. The amount rose to ₹1 million (US$16,000) till the 1990s,[5] after which the national monument of India, was neglected for many years due to improper allocation of funds. There was a protest held at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi near Pune railway station in July 1999 to protest against the worsening condition of the monument.

आगा खान पैलेस का निर्माण सुल्तान मुहम्मद शाह आगा खान तृतीय ने भारत के पुणे में करवाया था। इसका निर्माण 1892 में हुआ और यह भारतीय इतिहास की विशालकाय इमारतो में से एक है। आगा खान पैलेस एक राजसी ईमारत और भारत के महानतम चमत्कारों में से एक है। इस पैलेस का निर्माण सुल्तान ने चैरिटी के लिए किया था, जहाँ पुणे और उसके आस-पास के क्षेत्रो में रहने वाले गरीबो की सहायता की जाती थी।
एतिहासिक रूप से भी इस पैलेस का बहुत महत्त्व है। भारत छोडो अभियान के समय महात्मा गांधी, उनकी पत्नी कस्तूरबा गांधी और उनके सेक्रेटरी महादेव देसाई को पैलेस में 9 अगस्त 1942 से 6 मई 1944 तक कैद करके रखा गया था। कैद की अवधि के दौरान ही कस्तूरबा गांधी और महादेव देसाई की मृत्यु हो चुकी थी। महल के पास ही में हमें उनकी समाधी भी दिखाई देती है। महात्मा गांधी और कस्तूरबा गांधी के स्मारक चिन्ह भी हमें महल परिसर के पास वाली मुला नदी में दिखाई देते है।
1969 में आगा खान पैलेस को आगा खान चतुर्थ ने गांधीजी और उनके विचारो का सम्मान करते हुए भारतीय लोगो को दान कर दिया था। वर्तमान में यह पैलेस एक गाँधी स्मारक के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, जहाँ उनकी अस्थियो को भी रखा गया है।

It was built in Rs 12 lakhs. The total area is 13 acres and built up palace covers seven acres, and the rest is a well maintained garden.
The palace housed National Model School until early 1970s.
