Hotel Review: Hotel Aegean in beautiful Mykonos
Hotel Aegean Mykonos (NOT SPONSORED)
In Deutsch and further down in English:
This has been my third time staying there and most of the visitors have always been Germans and Austrians. Do not worry, Germans are harmless on vacation. They become really friendly when they do not have to drive on the autobahn..lol
The Hotel is about 10 minutes to Mykonos City. You have to walk down a not so busy street. When you go back it might take a little longer depending on our fitness status since you have to go uphill.
About 7 minutes walking down to a bus station at the old port to get to a beach, which takes up to half an hour..depending on which beach you prefer. I love Elia Beach. Paradise Beach is not a beach to chill. It is a beach to party:)
Team is friendly and always help you with any problem. However they do not want to take care of the room key. No idea why.
Rooms are clean and have a fridge. Some with terrace, some with balcony, some just a terrace on the back or only a window.
The view to the ocean side is really nice. There is a pool as well, which is never busy when I took a look at it.
I can still recommend it.
Some words to Mykonos: The Island is becoming more and more a retreat for the people with money, which is sad. Although the locals are really polite and the stores are very fashionable and nicely decorated the real Mykonos spirit is fading a little. You hardly find any kids or backpackers. On the other hand be aware that the island is flooded with people from cruiseships...yes, more than one a day. But they leave and they miss the best time, which is sunset and walking in the city. I still loved doing that.
This is only my opinion. Please consider to check out other reviews.

Corfu Island in Greece Collage Video 3 - youtube.com/tanvideo11
Powered by - Corfu (Greek: Κέρκυρα, Kérkyra, [ˈcercira]; Ancient Greek: Κέρκυρα or Κόρκυρα; Latin: Corcyra; Italian: Corfù) is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea. It is the second largest of the Ionian Islands, and, including its small satellite islands, forms the edge of the northwestern frontier of Greece. The island is part of the Corfu regional unit, and is administered as a single municipality. The municipality includes the island Corfu and the smaller islands Ereikoussa, Mathraki and Othonoi. The principal city of the island and seat of the municipality (pop. 32,095) is also named Corfu. Corfu is home to the Ionian University.
The island is bound with the history of Greece from the beginning of Greek mythology. Its Greek name, Kerkyra or Korkyra, is related to two powerful water symbols: Poseidon, god of the sea, and Asopos, an important Greek mainland river. According to myth, Poseidon fell in love with the beautiful nymph Korkyra, daughter of Asopus and river nymph Metope, and abducted her.Poseidon brought Korkyra to the hither to unnamed island and, in marital bliss, offered her name to the place: Korkyra, which gradually evolved to Kerkyra (Doric). Together, they had a child they called Phaiax, after whom the inhabitants of the island were named: Phaiakes. This term was transliterated via Latin to Phaeacians.
The island's history is laden with battles and conquests. The legacy of these struggles is visible in the form of castles punctuating strategic locations across the island. Two of these castles enclose its capital, which is the only city in Greece to be surrounded in such a way. As a result, Corfu's capital has been officially declared a Kastropolis (castle city) by the Greek government. Corfu was long controlled by Venice, which repulsed several Turkish sieges, before falling under British rule following the Napoleonic Wars. Corfu was eventually ceded by the British Empire along with the remaining islands of the United States of the Ionian Islands, and unification with modern Greece was concluded in 1864 under the Treaty of London.
