Air Mobility Command Museum - Dover, Delaware
This was a very quick tour of this informative air museum. It was a spur of the moment, hey, what are all those airplanes doing lined up like that. Is that a museum. That was all it took for me and I pulled in. We arrived not 20 minutes before they closed.
If you get the chance to stop by you should definitely do so.

The Best Places to Visit in Delaware, USA
The Best Places to Visit in Delaware, USA
Delaware packs plenty of attractions into just 1,900 square miles of land. The most populous cities, including Wilmington and Brandywine, are at the north end of the state, while Sussex County on the Delmara peninsula is where the best beaches are found. The top 10 places to visit should not be rushed; enjoy what this little state has to offer. Nicknamed the Diamond state when Thomas Jefferson described it as a jewel due to its location, Delaware is filled with moments you’ll treasure. It has history, beaches, family fun, amazing craft beers, and all the Mid-Atlantic coastal charm you could want.

U.S. Navy Submarine Force Museum
We drove to the U.S. Navy Submarine Force Museum, which is in Groton, Connecticut. It's a historic and unique place to see, and I highly recommend visiting this museum. Going in the museum and taking the tour of the Nautilus submarine, is free. Dad and I also took an inside tour of the historic submarine, the Nautilus. This is also the third time that I've been inside a submarine. I went inside the Nautilus submarine in 2005, and now, for a second time in 2018. The first time, in Roatan, I got to go down over a thousand feet into the pitch black darkness of the ocean in a yellow mini-sub.

Naval Air Station Oceana Air Park Photo Gallery
Naval Air Station Oceana
Virginia Beach, Virginia
Saturday July 20, 2013
With the help of one of my friends (who also appears in the video), we were able to visit the air park located within Naval Air Station Oceana, adjacent to the
Officer's Club. All photos are unedited and may appear out of order. This park is not open to the public, but if you had the ability to visit NAS Oceana with a
sponsor (or visit with a friend in the military with a military ID) you will be able to visit this air park. These jets also get repainted regularly, and to be honest,
I don't remember the story and tradition on who gets to paint which jets, so it is possible that some or all of these jets will get featured in a subsequent
photo set in different markings.

Kelly Field Annex
Kelly Field Annex (formerly Kelly Air Force Base) (IATA: SKF, ICAO: KSKF, FAA LID: SKF) is a United States Air Force facility located in San Antonio, Texas. In 2001, pursuant to BRAC action, the former Kelly AFB runway and land west of the runway became Kelly Field Annex and control of this reduced size installation was transferred to the adjacent Lackland Air Force Base, part of Joint Base San Antonio. The base is under the jurisdiction of the 802d Mission Support Group, Air Education and Training Command (AETC).
Kelly Field was one of thirty-two Air Service training camps established after the United States entry into World War I, being established on 27 March 1917. It was used as a flying field; primary flying school; school for adjutants, supply officers, engineers; mechanics school, and as an aviation general supply depot.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
The Beechcraft Model 18 (or Twin Beech, as it is also known) is a 6- to 11-seat, twin-engined, low-wing, tailwheel light aircraft manufactured by the Beech Aircraft Corporation of Wichita, Kansas. Continuously produced from 1937 to November 1969 (over 32 years, a world record at the time), over 9,000 were built, making it one of the world's most widely used light aircraft. Sold worldwide as a civilian executive, utility, cargo aircraft, and passenger airliner on tailwheels, nosewheels, skis, or floats, it was also used as a military aircraft.During and after World War II, over 4,500 Beech 18s were used in military service—as light transport, light bomber (for China), aircrew trainer (for bombing, navigation, and gunnery), photo-reconnaissance, and mother ship for target drones—including United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) C-45 Expeditor, AT-7 Navigator, and AT-11 Kansan; and United States Navy (USN) UC-45J Navigator, SNB-1 Kansan, and others. In World War II, over 90% of USAAF bombardiers and navigators trained in these aircraft. In the early postwar era, the Beech 18 was the pre-eminent business aircraft and feeder airliner. Besides carrying passengers, its civilian uses have included aerial spraying, sterile insect release, fish seeding, dry-ice cloud seeding, aerial firefighting, air-mail delivery, ambulance service, numerous movie productions, skydiving, freight, weapon- and drug-smuggling, engine testbed, skywriting, banner towing, and stunt aircraft. Many are now privately owned, around the world, with 240 in the U.S. still on the FAA Aircraft Registry in August 2017.
Lockheed C-130 Hercules
The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft designed and built originally by Lockheed, now Lockheed Martin. Capable of using unprepared runways for takeoffs and landings, the C-130 was originally designed as a troop, medical evacuation, and cargo transport aircraft. The versatile airframe has found uses in a variety of other roles, including as a gunship (AC-130), for airborne assault, search and rescue, scientific research support, weather reconnaissance, aerial refueling, maritime patrol, and aerial firefighting. It is now the main tactical airlifter for many military forces worldwide. Over 40 models and variants of the Hercules serve with more than 60 nations.
The C-130 entered service with U.S. in the 1950s, followed by Australia and others. During its years of service, the Hercules family has participated in numerous military, civilian and humanitarian aid operations. The family has the longest continuous production run of any military aircraft in history. In 2007, the C-130 became the fifth aircraft—after the English Electric Canberra, Boeing B-52 Stratofortress, Tupolev Tu-95, and Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker, all designs with various forms of aviation gas turbine powerplants—to mark 50 years of continuous use with its original primary customer, in this case, the United States Air Force. The C-130 is one of the only military aircraft to remain in continuous production for over 50 years with its original customer, as the updated C-130J Super Hercules.

Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker
The Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker is a military aerial refueling aircraft. It and the Boeing 707 airliner were developed from the Boeing 367-80 prototype. The KC-135 was the US Air Force's first jet-powered refueling tanker and replaced the KC-97 Stratotanker. The KC-135 was initially tasked to refuel strategic bombers, but was used extensively in the Vietnam War and later conflicts such as Operation Desert Storm to extend the range and endurance of US tactical fighters and bombers.
The KC-135 entered service with the United States Air Force (USAF) in 1957; it is one of six military fixed-wing aircraft with over 50 years of continuous service with its original operator. The KC-135 is supplemented by the larger KC-10. Despite increased maintenance costs, studies conclude many of the aircraft could be flown until 2040. The aircraft will eventually be replaced by the Boeing KC-46 Pegasus.
