Day Hike at Alderman's Ford Regional Park, Lithia Florida.
This scenic regional park includes the area where the Alafia River branches into its north and south prongs. The Alafia River is one of the most popular canoe spots in the state.
Several picnic areas are connected by a pedestrian/bicycle loop path. This path, together with the boardwalk and foot bridges, is perfect for a self-guided tour as it provides a first-hand view of Hillsborough County’s abundant flora.
The main picnic area has nine shelters for family or group use, and an enclosed, air conditioned pavilion for large gatherings.
A pedestrian/bicycle trail loops for more than two miles through the park, offering scenic views of the Alafia River.

11 Things I Love About Alderman's Ford Regional Park
Alderman's Ford Regional Park is a gem along County Road 39 in Lithia, Florida.
It offers miles of walking trails, several exercise stations, canoe and kayak rentals, several pavilions, clean bathrooms, and even primitive camping!
It was a fun day, and I'm sure to go back again!

Lithia Springs Florida
Kennedy and I go to swim at one of our favorite local Springs. the blocked of the entry way to the cave so people can't swim down into the cave. They also blocked it off from going farther down stream, but the swimming area is refreshing on a hot summer day. Entry fee to the park was $6. We plan on going back very soon with Caroline.
