Rescate en el Alpamayo
21.07.2010 - Rescate de un Austriaco, herido en la columna, tras ser golpeado por un Escalador Argentino que cayó y falleció mientras ascendía, en libre y solo, el Alpamayo de 5.947 m en la Cordillera Blanca Peruana. El herído tenia dañadas dos vértebras y aunque movia sus pies, era sumamente importante no moverle mucho, los helicopteros no vuelan por encima de 5.000 metros y tuvimos que evacuarle de manera manual hasta el Campo Base a 4.330 m. Después, personal de la Casa de Guías de Huaraz lo trasladaron, también manualmente hasta Cashapampa (3.900 m), primer reducto de civilización donde se lo llevó el helicoptero a un hospital de Lima. Procesos que aceleran la pérdida de hielo (Nacional Geographic - La era del Deshielo junio 2007
1. El derretimiento de la superficie ocasiona más derretimiento
La nieve refleja la luz y el calor del sol, evitando que se derrita el hielo que está abajo. En donde se derrite, el oscuro hielo expuesto absorbe el calor. Conforme los glaciares adelgazan, su superficie se hunde a altitudes más bajas, donde las temperaturas son más altas.
2. El agua de deshielo fractura el hielo y lubrica la base, acelerando el flujo.
El agua de deshielo de verano se encharca en la superficie del hielo y forma lagos o charcos que van creciendo. El agua de deshielo se zambulle dentro de grietas y molinos glaciares, rompiendo el hielo y lubricando su base lo cual acelera el flujo.
3. El hielo más delgado tiene un agarre más débil en la tierra y no puede sostener el acelerado glaciar.
4. Según el modelo en la parte más baja los Océanos con mayor temperatura erosionan el hielo que flota en su base, en el caso de Turismo en Pastoruri no hay un mar cerca pero si un mar de gente, seamos optimistas y digamos que mil personas erosionan el inicio del nevado, tratando de subir y al bajar, sin exagerar, aunque existe un control que cualquiera puede verificar. En un día puede retroceder varios metros de hielo.

La Ascensión al nevado Alpamayo (5.947m) en la Temporada 2008 también no fue posible por la Ruta Ferrari, por los mismo problemas que se presentaron en este nevado en la temporada 2007, la presencia de una grande cornisa que nos permitía realizar la cumbre al nevado Alpamayo por esta ruta. Por lo que nuestra Guías de nuestras Agencia de Viajes y Turismo, opto por la ruta Directa Francesa, el cual les permitió alcanzar sus metas a la cumbre cimera de este nevado.

The Huascaran National Park (Spanish: Parque Nacional Huascarán, Vascaran National Park) is a national park set in the Andes mountain range Cordillera Blanca in the central Ancash province in Peru. Located at an altitude of 3,000 to 6,000 meters, which is approximately 400 km north of the capital Lima, it is the world's tallest national park. Area 340,000 ha.
It is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (natural heritage site) and it is also a biosphere reserve. As the mountain of crown of snow in the low latitude area, there is the world's highest peak of Huascaran Sannan (6,768 m above sea level), which is also the name of the park. This park is a habitat for the unique plant Puya Raimondi, and it is inhabited by Bikuña, Jaguar, Cougar, Llama, Guanaco, Bluntzerus dichotomus, Perl Madarao Hummingbird etc. In addition to that, a lot of duck friends such as Netta ershjiro (Netta erythrophthalma) are inhabited.

The Huascaran National Park is rising from an altitude of 2,000 m to 6,000 m. The Huascaran Sannan Peak (altitude 6,768 m), which also became the origin of the park name, is the highest peak in Peru, surpassing nearby peaks such as Alpamayo (Alpamayo, altitude 5947 m) and Pisco (Pisco).

Did the Santa Cruz Trek, 4 days and 3 nights. Located in the Huascaran National Park of Peru, we got off-track at one point, so I had to cross a river while keeping my backpack dry, fought high winds, amongst other things. A very beautiful, sometimes challenging, but mostly pleasant trek.

HUASCARÁN.- Escalada al majestuoso nevado del Perú.
HUASCARAN.- Nevado más grande del Perú, con 6655 m. s. n. m. cumbre norte y 6768 m s. n. m. cumbre sur, ubicado en la cordillera occidental de los Andes peruanos, en las provincias de Yungay y Carhuaz, dentro del Parque Nacional Huascarán de la región Áncash.

HIKE TO LAGUNA 69 PERU | Lake 69 in Huascaran National Park | Huaraz, Peru
After taking an overnight bus ride from Trujillo to Huaraz, Peru, we joined an organized tour to do a hike to Laguna 69, or Lake 69 Peru.
Laguna 69 Peru is located inside the Huascaran National Park, and this national park is one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Peru. Huascaran National Park Peru is also a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve site.
The hike to Laguna 69 is quite strenuous, due to the high altitude of about 15,000 feet (4500m). We gained around 600-700 meters of elevation during our three-hour Laguna 69 trek.
Is Laguna 69 worth doing? We think so. Just maybe not twice. :-)
