ZAKYNTHOS BEAT - ALYKANAS BEACH
This is a video of our holiday to ALYKANAS BEACH in ZAKYNTHOS, Greece.
I started this track on the plane on the way over to keep me busy and added more details whilst on holiday in the night.
There are some stray dogs and cats on the island and is why I included sounds of dogs and cats, not that there was many.
There are also horse draw carts to take people on trips, I also added some recorded sounds from one of them and added this detail too.
Everything you hear including the sea and grass hopper noise are all native to the island.
I was inspired to make a video using some clips from my girlfriend's phone as I will NOThave one of THOSE THINGS...
I don't have time unfortunately to add more video content as havn't got much time here left before going back home to UK.
Golden Dolphin boat tours is a reccomend from me and is fetured in the video.

Go and see the island for yourself, so beautiful and lovely locals who work in the shops and many cafes and bars and pubs, there are places for everyone and is a bar that will suit your mood whether you want to hear and soak up local music and plate smashing ect, or go out to a normal noisey bar and some that are inbetween. Something for everyone. The Island is what I would say, Unspoilt and has a charm and beauty that makes you feel it when you get back home, I miss the Island already and how it made me feel.
My favorite taverna in town is Enia Elia, very friendly and welcoming, lovely athmophere and very good tasty food and drinks. The main waiter George is a real star.
The food there is great and super tasty too and the all round vibe is one that I could happily go and live there one fine day.
