Video film ALZHIR Restored memory tells about mass political repressions of 30-50s which took place in 20th century in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main theme of the film is the establishment of the Museum in the place of the former Akmolinskiy Camp of the Parricides' Wives -- «ALZHIR» (former Malinovka Village, currently Akmol Village, Tselinograd Region, Akmolinskaya Oblast). The film includes recollections of children of the repressed people, interviews with architects of the Museum Complex, notable public figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with those who made great efforts to establish «Museum-Memorial Complex to the Memory of Victims of Political Repressions and Totalitarianism «ALZHIR».
This film is a revived memory of «ALZHIR» Camp history.
