St Augustine, Florida Ship Espiritu Caravel in Dry Dock June 12, 2013
Here is a 20 minute tour of the decks of a remarkable ship. Once a working, shrimping boat called the Apple Jack, the newly named Espiritu is a ship that has been transformed with an eye for historical detail..
The video documents what some remarkable volunteers have achieved to date in their quest to create an authentic, replica of a 16th Century, Caravel with square rigged sails.
The caravel design was used for commercial shrimping vessels built in St. Augustine, FL between 1921 and 1981.
Columbus' famed Nina was a square-rigged caravel. Ponce de Leon used a caravel to sail from Puerto Rico to St. Augustine in 1513.
As of June 2013, the Espiritu sits at The St. Augustine Marine Center in dry dock, anticipating the day in upcoming late summer, when the vessel will be placed in the adjacent, San Sebastian River.

Helicopter Ride Orlando Florida - Disney & Sea World
Helicopter Ride Orlando Florida -BEST Florida Helicopter Tours: Robinson R-44 Helicopter - Gorgeous Views! LEARN TO FLY - GET YOUR WINGS:
Climb aboard the Robinson R-44 Helicopter made by Robinson Helicopters. This tour is available from and was a great experience for me my wife and my Aunt. It was shortly after this tour that I began my own helicopter flight training in St. Louis Missouri...yes it was THAT awesome! In this tour flight at the beginning you get to see Sea World Orlando with Shamu in the tank as well as fly over some other well known tourist spots. In the next helicopter tour video you will fly over St. Augustine Florida by Old City Helicopters, you can find them here: This was an excellent tour as well and in this video you get a great aerial view of Castillo de san Marcos. The Castillo de San Marcos is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States. Located on the western shore of Matanzas Bay in the city of St. Augustine, Florida, the fort was designed by the Spanish engineer Ignacio Daza. Both tours used the Robinson R-44 helicopter - a four place helicopter which are quite safe. If you've never ridden in a helicopter I encourage you to give these tours a try the next time you visit sunny Florida! Thanks for watching!
