SUNDAY Just Got Stranger In Anderson California 96007 Large Numbers of CHURCHES in big Business!
Anderson California has been well known in the region for being filled with desperation, poverty , addiction and crime, and corruption .
While over 1/4 anderson ca residents live below the poverty line standard in The United States.-
A lesser known fact is Anderson's vast number of religious organizations and churches. For its population Anderson must have far more than above the nations average.
We must stop and beg to ask the question ....with so many churches why is there so little fruit Monday through Saturday...
Religious Organizations are not only exempting themselves financially but exempting themselves from service for the poor and needy. Not profiting others through the Truth of The Gospel .

PFC Anderson's Sacrifice and The Medal of Honor
PFC James Anderson, Jr --- Vietnam Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient; served in the United States Marine Corps as a Private First Class in the 2nd Platoon, Company F, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division.
He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for bravery in the Republic of Vietnam on February 28, 1967.
His citation reads:
For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty. Company F was advancing in dense jungle northwest of Cam Lo in an effort to extract a heavily besieged reconnaissance patrol. Pfc. Anderson's platoon was the lead element and had advanced only about 200 meters when they were brought under extremely intense enemy small-arms and automatic weapons fire.
The platoon reacted swiftly, getting on line as best they could in the thick terrain, and began returning fire. Pfc. Anderson found himself tightly bunched together with the other members of the platoon only 20 meters from the enemy positions.
As the fire fight continued, several of the men were wounded by the deadly enemy assault. Suddenly, an enemy grenade landed in the midst of the marines and rolled alongside Pfc. Anderson's head. Unhesitatingly and with complete disregard for his personal safety, he reached out, grasped the grenade, pulled it to his chest and curled around it as it went off. Although several Marines received shrapnel from the grenade, his body absorbed the major force of the explosion.
In this singularly heroic act, Pfc. Anderson saved his comrades from serious injury and possible death. His personal heroism, extraordinary valor, and inspirational supreme self-sacrifice reflected great credit upon himself and the Marine Corps, and upheld the highest traditions of the U.S. Naval Service. He gallantly gave his life for his country.
His Medal of Honor was posthumously awarded to his family at the US Marine Barracks in Washington, DC, by Secretary of the Navy Paul R. Ignatius, on August 21, 1968.

Beautiful trail hiking: Russian Gulch State Park, Point Cabrillo Lighthouse, Fort Bragg California
Started my hiking back in california with some beautiful trails in Russian Gulch and Mendocino Headlands state parks over a long weekend. Featured trails in the video are fern canyon trail to waterfall loop and the coastal trail is mendocino headlands trail. Northern california provides some incredible views of the pacific coast and boasts heavenly sunsets. Point Cabrillo lighthouse is just a few minutes away on the ever popular highway 1 along with the sleepy town of Fort Bragg. I have to say that glass beach was a horrible disappointment simply because most of the glass has been picked clean by tourists (leave it to humans). Coastal weather here ranges wildly from early morning fog and mist to gorgeous sunny blue skies. Dress appropriately for this region of california as the coast is much colder (even in summer) than most people think. For the love of future generations dont pick the glass!

The Man Behind New York's Central Park and Prospect Park, Stanford University Campus (1999)
Frederick Law Olmsted (April 26, 1822 – August 28, 1903) was an American landscape architect, journalist, social critic, and public administrator. He is popularly considered to be the father of American landscape architecture. Olmsted was famous for co-designing many well-known urban parks with his senior partner Calvert Vaux, including Prospect Park and Central Park in New York City,[2] as well as Elm Park (Worcester, Massachusetts), considered by many to be the first municipal park in America.
Other projects that Olmsted was involved in include the country's first and oldest coordinated system of public parks and parkways in Buffalo, New York; the country's oldest state park, the Niagara Reservation in Niagara Falls, New York; one of the first planned communities in the United States, Riverside, Illinois; Mount Royal Park in Montreal, Quebec; the Emerald Necklace in Boston, Massachusetts; Highland Park in Rochester, New York; Belle Isle Park, in the Detroit River for Detroit, Michigan; the Grand Necklace of Parks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Cherokee Park and entire parks and parkway system in Louisville, Kentucky; the 735-acre (297 ha) Forest Park in Springfield, Massachusetts, featuring America's first public wading pool;[3] the George Washington Vanderbilt II Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina; the master plans for the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Maine, and Stanford University near Palo Alto, California as well as for The Lawrenceville School; and Montebello Park in St. Catharines, Ontario. In Chicago his projects include: Jackson Park; Washington Park; the Midway Plaisance for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition; the south portion of Chicago's emerald necklace boulevard ring; Anderson Park in Upper Montclair, New Jersey; Cadwalader Park in Trenton, New Jersey; and the University of Chicago campus. In Washington, D.C., he worked on the landscape surrounding the United States Capitol building.
The quality of Olmsted's landscape architecture was recognized by his contemporaries, who showered him with prestigious commissions. His work, especially in Central Park in New York City, set a standard of excellence that continues to influence landscape architecture in the United States. His second line of achievement involves his activism in conservation, including work at Niagara Falls, the Adirondack region of upstate New York, and the National Park system. Thirdly, he played a major role in organizing and providing medical services to the Union Army in the Civil War.
In Erik Larson's The Devil in the White City, Olmsted is featured as one of the most important figures participating in the design of the 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition. In the book, his personality and actions are given significant coverage. In addition, his importance in designing the fair is highlighted (e.g., his part in picking the geographic site and his bureaucratic involvement in planning the fair).
