Fallen Leaf Lake (1080p HD)
Beautiful Fallen Leaf Lake, located a short distance from Lake Tahoe, California. Filmed and edited by Sheety33 in September of 2011. Fallen Leaf Lake is about one mile south of the much larger Lake Tahoe, near the California-Nevada state border. It is approximately aligned north-to-south and oval in shape, measuring approximately 2.9 miles (4.6 km) on the long axis and 0.9 miles (1.4 km) on the short axis. The lake was created by at least two glaciers which traveled northward down the Glen Alpine Valley. If the glacier had continued instead of stopping, Fallen Leaf Lake would be a bay similar to nearby Emerald Bay. A terminal moraine is visible at the north end of the lake on the northeast edge.

How to get to Angora Lake ( Lake Tahoe)
Ok look this is just between you and me. The town will have my head if they know im the one who told you how to get here. This is one of the best secret locations in lake tahoe. The first time I went I asked two people for directions and still got lost, hopefully this video will help. There are no signs but if you follow the markers you should have no trouble. This is one of my favorite places it combines a great scenic drive, a short hike and lots to do when you get there. The lake is good for swimming, fishing, boating, hiking and my favorite, cliff jumping. A family ownes the land around the lake and offer sandwiches, snacks and there famous lemonade. They also rent kayaks, rowboats and paddleboards for around $15 an hour. The parking lot is small maybe fifty spots, so either get there early or get there late afternoon. Its $7 to park on the honor system, just deposit your money in an envelope. If you've never been I highly recommend it. Have fun and clean up your trash.
