Scuba diving Philipines! Exploring dive sites around Panglao.
Diving near Doljo beach on Panglao island. Still early days with my scuba videos.. as I worked out that diving mode and red filter do not work well with the sjcam5000x elite. Best not to use those and use post processing to adjust colours.

Nudibranch got its name from the Latin words nudi (naked) and branchi (gills). Nudis are hermaphrodites. Their sex organs are located on the right-hand side of their bodies. Nudis have two antennas called rhinophores which are used to smell food and mates. Once nudibranchs find their mates, they slowly get into a position. They line up their sexual parts and the partners donate sperm to each other. The nudities passion lasts for around twenty minutes.

Ocean Plastic and Trash Patch while scuba diving in Daryl Laut, Anilao, Batangas, Philippines
The dive was beautiful then it became even more memorable when I realized I had to emerge and swim in trash. Yuck! Safety stop took longer hoping that it would clear out but it was just everywhere! The boat men said it's because of the shifting winds and tides and it will clear out eventually... it will probably move to the huge plastic island in the middle of the Pacific!
Ever since I've started diving, when I see plastic underwater I try to pick it up as some turtle or sea creature might eat it! Unfortunately, I cannot get it all so I'm hoping this video will make you think twice. Some people do not know any better, some probably don't even care. The ocean is not your trash can, people!
We only have one earth and we share it with all other creatures. Let's all do our part to protect and conserve it. Any effort, no matter how small you think it is, will still matter.

Philiphines Scuba Diving Vlog 7
You may not know that the driving force of the watersports.si team has temporarily moved to the Philippines, namely enough slovenian cold for a while.
After several crazy dives are done we become also more crazy on diving hre. On the lower link, some photos that have occurred on some of the dives.
However, if you have an interest in diving over winter in warm place we must be the right information about where, besides the top dives, you will receive a experienced slovenian instructor in position. He also speak english, croatian, etc. We work in small group of divers, not mass exits. We have a boat for a maximum of 6 Divers. Boat-man is experienced and is happy to help with the entry and exit from the water to the divers.
Water temperature is 27 degrees and the atmosphere is hot. There's a larger number of diving locations around the dive center, most of the type drop-off to 30 m. The walls are coated with colorful soft coral, as well as abundance of fish. The top of the drop-off is mostly up to 12 m withmany hard corals and more smaller colorful fish.
Location Ando - Bohol. Divers are for all categories. We also adapt and individual if you decide to come alone. Apartments and the restaurant are in the middle of the resort, but you can take it also over Airbnb and use street food.
Don't forget it's a new year knocking on the door... for more info: Info@watersports.si or pm on FB. Consider the time difference and the bad internet, but so much better diving.
Now we run back underwater ;)

Scuba Diving World War 2 Wrecks in the Philippines
While staying in Coron on Basuanga Island in the Philippines, we got to scuba dive 4 different Japanese Wrecks from World War 2. There are Japanese wrecks scattered throughout the bay around Coron that were all destroyed on one morning in 1944 by US fighter planes. This was our first wreck diving experience and it was haunting and beautiful to see the coral and sea life that had taken over the skeleton of the wreck.
Mainit, Anilao Mabini Batangas
Mainit means hot 5m.-30m. / 16ft.-100ft in depth, around 16 minutes away from the resort by banca boat. Dive here is 99 percent with current because it is adjacent to Maricaban strait. The way we do diving here often one way follow the current which flows parallel to the strait and moving west ward and then moved close to the shore upon exit where less to no current is present and where your banca boat is waiting for you to pick you up.The current strength sometimes moderate to strong. Visibility is 10m.-20m./33ft.-66ft. on good weather condition. The dive spot has shallow sandy bottom mixed with soft and hard corals and then suddenly drop off to a slope of more than 30m./100ft. deep of water. The drop off is a formation of solid rocks and wall of rocks coated with all kinds of soft corals and surrounded by hovering great barracudas, surgeon fish, blue fin jacks, rainbow runner and tuna fish. Beneath the rocks close to bottom you will see a patrolling dog tooth tunas and ocassionally a white tip grey reef sharks can be encounter along the way. Ideal for a short drift dive and barracuda watching.

CEBU DIVING TRIP
Mad Max Dive Site - Diving with Scuba Planet Philippines
Scuba Planet Philippines opened in 2013 and is run by Selina & Juan, a Swiss Spanish management. We are located right on Sugar Beach in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines.
After many years teaching and guiding all around the world we decided to open our own dive center to offer what divers worldwide are looking for and to provide the service we as divers would also looking for. We are a small dive center and focus more on quality than quantity. Between us we speak English, German, French and Spanish
Good dive sites, short boat trips, other adventurous activities, and better prices.
Travel Vlog: Boat Ride - Anilao, Batangas Philippines
Fresh vlog from our YouTube channel:
“Boat Ride in Anilao (Mabini), Batangas”.
While checked in at Paradiso Rito Resort, we decided to go on a island-hopping boat ride from the beachfront resort to Twin Rocks which is a popular diving spot in Mabini.
The sea was calm and the water was really clear so we enjoyed the travel time looking at the natural views and also our short dip in the ocean water to marvel at the beautiful fishes and corals underwater.
Paradiso Rito resort is a highly recommended
place to stay in Mabini as the place is clean, well-designed, spacious and modern.
But all in all, what made the great difference (and wow factor) in our stay was their friendly management and staff who made us feel welcome and at home. (Biggest thanks to Tita Maricar).
We will surely be back to stay longer next time!
