a view of 'Anini Beach Park (and my feet in the water) in Kauai, Hawaii. The waves break very far out so there is a lot of calm water to enjoy swimming and snorkeling (the best snorkeling is several hundred feet from the shore). I saw lots of sea turtles, huge corals and tropical fish here including humuhumunukunukuapuaa and many different kinds of butterfly fish.

After returning from our trip to North end of Kauai, we took the trail from the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort to Anini Beach.
It's a pretty good walk, very muddy after & prone to some wash out after a good rain. The beach is really neat l, with all the trees reaching out toward the water's edge. Has lots of shallows & is really good for snorkeling.
