SEALIFE BERLIN & AQUADOM - Most beautiful aquariums in the world
L'AquaDom & Sea Life Berlin, qui abrite plus de 5 000 créatures marines, vous offre une immersion passionnante dans le merveilleux monde marin. Avec 35 bassins et habitats d'eaux douce et salée au décor naturel, partez à la découverte des eaux de la rivière Spree ou des profondeurs de l'océan Atlantique. Dans certains bassins, vous êtes même autorisé(e) à toucher ! Apprenez tout sur la vie des créatures des mers. Le parcours à coupler le souffle à l'intérieur de l'AquaDom, le plus grand aquarium cylindrique au monde, est incontestablement l'un des moments les plus forts de la visite.
Les bassins recensent aussi beaucoup d’espèces en voie de disparition que l’aquarium aide à protéger et sur lesquelles il sensibilise. Par exemple, de nombreux textes explicatifs (en allemand et en anglais) donneront aux enfants des informations (nom, taille, habitat, spécificité, menace qui les guette…) sur les plantes et animaux qu’ils y apercevront.
Hippocampes, étoiles de mer, carpes, esturgeons, requins chats, murènes, raies, tortues, méduses… ils sont 5 000 à tournoyer (ou à vivoter pour certains) dans les quelque 35 bassins. La baie aux raies devrait leur plaire, plus que les requins dont la taille est un peu décevante.
À l’issue de votre immersion et après la boutique souvenirs qui ravira vos enfants, n’oubliez pas de traverser le passage qui mène au Radison Hotel ! Là, vous pourrez emprunter l’ascenseur de l’Aquadom, le plus grand aquarium cylindrique du monde. Vingt-cinq mètres de haut, un poids de 2 000 tonnes, un million de litres d’eau. Pendant huit minutes, vous vous trouverez au milieu de plus de 1 500 poissons de 97 espèces différentes. Et si vous y allez aux bons horaires, vos enfants pourront même assister au nettoyage des vitres, particulièrement propres. On regrette toutefois la chaleur ambiante.

Aqua Dom, part of Sea Life, is located in the middle of Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin. This video is shot 23rd October, 2010. There is a lift in the middle of the tank - visitors can see from inside the cylinder shaped aquarium! The lift goes up and down; the cycle is a bit longer than 5 minutes. The ride is included in the entrance fee of SaeLife. Tank: 1500 fishes, 1 million litres of water, height 25m and diameter 12m.
Kuvaa hissistä, akvaarion sisältä. Radisson Blu Hotellin keskellä, hotellin aulassa on valtava akvaario, jonka sisällä on hissi. Hissi ja akvaario eivät kuulu hotelliin, vaan ovat osa viereistä SeaLifea, eli sinne pääsee Sea Lifen lipulla (huomaa: myös Suomen Sea Lifen vuosikortti kelpaa!). Hissin nousu ja lasku kestää viitisen minuuttia. Kaloja on tankissa yli 1500, vettä yli miljoona litraa, tankin korkeus on 25m ja leveys 12m.

Aquadom and Sea Life Berlin
Besides the Berlin Aquarium, Sea Life and the associated Aquadom represent the second large underwater centre of Berlin. The conception differs from that of the Berlin Zoo: One path guides the visitors through the impressive exhibition. Caressingly decorated small landscapes, representing famous watery areas of Berlin, Hamburg and Germany's seaside, finally also the tropical sea, adorn the surfaces of aquariums. A colourful illumination creates a moody atmosphere.
The Aquadom exists since 2004 in the CityQuartier DomAquarée. It is 25 m high, has a weight of 2000 tons, 12 m in diameter, 1 million l of water and a salinity of 3.3 %.
Neben dem Berlin Aquarium ist Sea Life mit dem dazugehörigen Aquadom das zweite große Unterwasserzentrum in Berlin. Das Konzept unterscheidet sich von dem des Berliner Zoos: Ein einziger Pfad geleitet den Besucher durch die beeindruckende Ausstellung. Liebevoll dekorierte kleine Landschaften, die bekannte Gewässer aus Berlin oder Hamburg und die deutsche Küste repräsentieren, jedoch schließlich auch den tropischen Ozean, schmücken die Oberfläche der Aquarien. Eine farbenfrohe Beleuchtung schafft eine dichte Atmosphäre.
Der Aquadom existiert seit 2004 im CityQuartier DomAquarée. Er ist 25 m hoch, wiegt 2000 Tonnen, hat 12 m im Durchmesser enthält 1 Million Liter Wasser und hat eine Salinität von 3,3 %.

Looking for something to do indoors while in Berlin? Why not take a trip to visit with fish and other underwater creatures at AquaDom and Sea Life Berlin? Berlin weather can sometimes be too cold or wet for all your outdoor plans, so it is always good to have a place to warm up while still enjoying your vacation. This aquarium has exhibits about German river and ocean creatures. We've visited aquariums in Japan, Korea, and several US states; but were still dazzled with creatures and facts that we did not know. The aquarium exhibits are primarily in German, but there are English translations for most exhibits. Scattered throughout the aquarium were fun activities for kids. Your experience ends with a mirror maze leading you into a gift shop. After exiting you aren't quite done, make sure you hang on to your ticket because you will need it for your ride in the elevator through the circular aquarium. That was a unique experience. For our elevator ride the up journey was narrated in German and the down journey was in English.

AQUADOM & SEA LIFE BERLIN.
SeaLife AquaDom (АкваДом) – это именно то место, где не только дети, но и взрослые могут замечательно провести время. SeaLife занимает достаточно большую территорию , где Вы сможете полюбоваться огромным количество необычных морских рыб в центре Берлина. Вы увидите много экспозиций с разнообразными рыбками и другими обитателями удивительного подводного мира. Для детей особенно интересно, если Вы попадёте туда в 11.30 на кормление рыбок. Сама экскурсия состоит из посещения аквариума в виде лабиринта, но больше всего SeaLife привлекает своим огромным аквариумом со встроенным лифтом внутри.
АкваДом – это самый большой в мире цилиндрический аквариум с солёной водой. Сам аквариум находится в фойе отеля Redisson Blu, в непосредственной близости от Александрплатц. Это значит, что даже, если Вы не попадёте в Sealife, Вы можете спокойно зайти в отель и увидеть его из холла. Аквариум сделан из акрилового стекла и бетонного фундамента, в общей сложности высота составляет 25 метров, его вес 2000 тонн, а объём 1 млн. литров солёной воды. Внутри аквариума встроен двухэтажный лифт, и все желающие могут проехаться внутри него и понаблюдать за многообразным морским миром: внутри плавают 1500 рыб 97 видов. Обитатели этого захватывающего аквариума ежедневно съедают 8 кг. корма. Поднимаясь по прозрачному лифту, Вы можете наблюдать за великолепием океана в миниатюре.
