Breathtaking Views from the Cliffs of Mt. Arbel in Israel's Galilee
Mount Arbel (600 feet sea level) with its high cliffs boasts stunning views of the Galilee in all directions: Tiberias, Magdala, Mount Hermon in the Golan Heights, Ginosar Valley, but especially the Sea of Galilee, or Lake Kinneret. There are steep trails along the face of the cliffs to a cave-fortress, and ruins of an ancient synagogue.

Fantastic viewing platform over the northern sea of galilee (lake kineret) down to Capernaum/Bethsaida and Ginosar and across to the golan heights. Easily reached by car off the motorway, then there is a small entrance fee and a short walk to the cliff.

As part of my desire to visit sacred and interesting places I went with my Friend Shachar to visit the wonderful Arbel cliffs and to run the Jesus trail.
the entire area has amazing views of the sea of Galilee and it inspires you to just explore.

The Paul Family travled in Israel with Lior from Touring Israel. One of there special highlight was to fly with Latus with Segev Baram over the Arbel cliff near Tiberias.
It was awesome, once in a life time.
