A Ride On The Arcade & Attica Railroad
Based out of Arcade, New York, the Arcade & Attica Railroad offers scenic train rides powered by antique steam locomotive number 18. 18 is a 2-8-0 Consolidation type steam locomotive constructed in 1920 by the American Locomotive Works (or ALCo for short) for a Cuban Railroad, but was never exported, and first served a quarry in New Jersey, then on the Boyne City Railroad of Michigan, and then finally on the Arcade & Attica Railroad hauling their tourist trains, and occasionally revenue freight trains. The A&A runs trains regularly from Memorial Day weekend to the last weekend in October, plus Easter Bunny Trips, and Christmas Specials. All the regular excursions during the regular operating season are powered by the number 18.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of Steam in the Empire State, presented to you by Dynamo Productions.
NOTE: Forgive the shaky camera work from on train, we were on the open air car, a converted gondola still using freight car trucks, and the truck below us lacked springs.

National Railroad Museum
On of our last Stops on the Midwest Trips at the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay. We saw our first Texas 2-10-4, our First Big Boy & Our First UK Steam Locomotive to name a few. It was a great museum to visit.
We were actually going to stop at another museum but this took up a good portion of our day which was fine. Set & Roll went on the Train ride out side of the museum which went around the equipment and around the museum twice. Like Strasburg & IRM They had an indoor exhibit and an outdoor exhibit. The Indoor one included the Big Boy from Union Pacific 4017, a Pennsylvania Railroad GG-1, The First British Locomotive we've seen an A4 Pacific built for LNER, and then in 1948 was renamed the Dwight D Eisenhower, along with 2 Coaches that The President rode behind when he rode behind this train, and the United States Army 101 General Pershing which was used in Korea. Outside they had many different locomotives as well, including a Santa Fe 2-10-4, a C&O Kanawha's and much more!
While we only have two more photos from our Midwest Trip stay tuned! Our Pere Marquette 1225 footage is coming up soon and it is the best chase we've had so far!!! If you want to stay up to date with us make sure you like us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter & Instagram!

Cazenovia Creek, 2014 Start of Flood
This is Cazenovia Creek in Western New York. The start of the flood after the blizzard. High temps melted almost everything after a 7 day North Pole like existence where people were stranded and the National Guard was called in, State of Emergency, driving, travel and walking bans. After rainfall and high temps, the creek is flooding. This is the start of the ice moving rapidly down Caz Creek that runs along most areas of Western New York and Buffalo. That is my driveway midpoint so far. This blizzard new set records in the United States. I never wish to see snow again. Those are whole parts of trees in there, not twigs or branches. The video is two parts of the same creek. First is Stevenson in South Buffalo [the ice chunks] and 2nd is Ebenezer in West Seneca [the flooding.] This video is LIVE on Yahoo! News: and Yahoo! Pennsylvania 643 (William Grove Railroad)
Pennsylvania Railroad 0-6-0 643 operates tourist trips at the Williams Grove Railroad in Dillsburg, PA. This 1901-built B4a is the last operating steam locomotive from the Pennsylvania Railroad, The Standard Railroad Of The World. Number 643 has been on the WGRR since 1961, much longer than she served the PRR from 1901 to 1917.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the last Pennsy steamer operating in the world.

NS Southern Tier Chase 10/02/10 Part 1
It's here! Footage from my first big day-long trip to chase some trains on the Norfolk Southern Southern Tier Line! Part 1 of my epic October 2, 2010 trip begins in Attica with a shot of NS train 12T before sunrise, with a great lashup of classic GE motive power. After following 12T to Bison Yard, we hang around in Buffalo for train 38T to depart, and in the meantime come away with shots of CP train 426, CSX trains L163 and Q382, NS train H0N, plus ICE, CITX, UP, and CSX power parked in Frontier Yard. Finally, 38T's crew gets called, and we give chase down the Tier, finally leaving him behind in the town of Portage, NY, so we can chase the next train. Part 2 is to follow quite closely!

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

Warsaw Falls, Warsaw, NY
Warsaw Falls, Warsaw, Wyoming County, NY. Saw a nice black squirrel as we started our hike. A novelty for us - quite different from our white squirrels. Just as we got to the falls there was a thunderstorm! No rain jackets or umbrellas, so our time spent photographing was VERY brief (and VERY wet). Shot 10/4/13
