Το ευρήματα προέρχονται από ανασκαφές της τοπικής Εφορείας και ξένων αρχαιολογικών σχολών (Ελβετική και Βρετανική Σχολή) στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Ερέτριας. Χρονολογικά καλύπτουν όλο το φάσμα κατοίκησης της περιοχής, από την Εποχή του Χαλκού μέχρι και τα Ρωμαϊκά Χρόνια. Υπάρχει μια χρονολογική ταξινόμηση των προθηκών και των αντικειμένων, ξεκινώντας από τα αρχαιότερα και καταλήγοντας στα νεότερα. Στο μουσείο εκτίθεται κεραμική, όλων των περιόδων, γλυπτά και ανάγλυφα της Αρχαϊκής, Κλασικής και Ελληνιστικής Εποχής, χάλκινα αντικείμενα, όπως αγγεία, ειδώλια, είδη πολυτέλειας από την Ανατολή, κοσμήματα από χρυσό, ασήμι, χαλκό, φαγεντιανή (πόρπες, αλυσίδες, σκουλαρίκια κλπ), λυχνίες και οπλισμός. Ως σημαντικότερα εκθέματα του Μουσείου μπορούν να θεωρηθούν το γλυπτό σύμπλεγμα του Θησέα με την Αντιόπη από το δυτικό αέτωμα του ναού του Δαφνηφόρου Απόλλωνα στην Ερέτρια, το πήλινο αγαλματίδιο Κενταύρου από το Λευκαντί, που αποτελεί την πρωιμότερη παράσταση αυτού του μυθολογικού όντος, η χάλκινη παρωπίδα αλόγου με έκτυπη παράσταση από τη βόρεια Συρία και παναθηναϊκοί αμφορείς.
Στον προθάλαμο του Μουσείο εκτίθενται γλυπτά του 4ου αι. π.Χ. και επιγραφές, μία από τις οποίες είναι σε γραφή «βουστροφηδόν». Η πρώτη κύρια αίθουσα του Μουσείου περιλαμβάνει τα ευρήματα της προϊστορικής Ερέτριας, όπως επίσης και τριών γειτονικών προϊστορικών οικισμών, αυτών της Ξηρόπολης, της Αμαρύνθου και της Μαγούλας.
Η Ξηρόπολη βρίσκεται βορειοδυτικά της Ερέτριας και έχει να επιδείξει και αποτελεί σημαντική θέση από το τέλος της Πρωτοελλαδικής Εποχής και την Μυκηναϊκή Εποχή. Ο οικισμός της Αμαρύνθου αποκαλύφθηκε πάνω σε τεχνητό λόφο νοτιοανατολικά της Ερέτριας και ξεκινά από την Πρώιμη Πρωτοελλαδική Εποχή (γύρω στο 3000 π.Χ.). Η Μαγούλα βρίσκεται μεταξύ Ερέτριας και Αμαρύνθου και ανάγεται χρονολογικά επίσης στην Πρωτοελλαδική Εποχή.
Τα σημαντικότερα εκθέματα, ωστόσο, προέρχονται από τα πρωτογεωμετρικά νεκροταφεία του Λευκαντίου και της Ερέτριας. Στη δεύτερη αίθουσα δεσπόζει το δυτικό αέτωμα του ναού του Δαφνηφόρου Απόλλωνα, το οποίο χρονολογείται στα τέλη του 6ου αι. π.Χ. και αποτελεί δείγμα υψηλής τέχνης. Οι προθήκες που πλαισιώνουν το γλυπτό διάκοσμο παρουσιάζουν αντικείμενα από τον καθημερινό βίο, από τον ιδιωτικό βίο στο σπίτι, από τον αθλητικό βίο (παναθηναϊκοί αμφορείς), από το λατρευτικό βίο και από το νεκρικό βίο (κτερίσματα από κλασικούς, ελληνιστικούς και ρωμαϊκούς τάφους). Τέλος, στην αυλή του Μουσείου παρουσιάζονται αρχιτεκτονικά μέλη, επιτύμβιες στήλες και ψηφίσματα, όπως επίσης και το σημαντικό εύρημα του κεραμικού κλιβάνου που βρέθηκε στην περιοχή της αρχαίας αγοράς της Ερέτριας και χρονολογείται στη Μεσοελλαδική Εποχή (2000 – 1650 π.Χ.).

Archaeological Museum of Veria
The museum includes collections of Hellenistic and Roman sculpture (funerary reliefs, funerary and honorary altars, portraits, table supports, statues) from the city of Veroia and other sites of the district, Hellenistic pottery and figurines from the cemeteries of Veroia, Hellenistic and Roman architectural parts (columns, bases, capitals etc.) exhibited in the courtyard, inscriptions from Veroia and the adjacent areas.
The most important exhibits of the museum are:
Red-figure bell crater (Kertsch style). The front view bears a representation of the iconographic cycle of Aphrodite and Dionysos. Dated to the middle of the 4th century BC.
Bronze hydria-calpis used as a funerary urn in a cist-grave at Veroia. Dated to 370-360 BC.
Medusa head. Large head of the mythical Medusa, which was attached to the north-east gate of the fortification walls of Veroia. It was an apotropaic symbol, used to discourage and frighten the city attackers. Dated to the first half of the 2nd century BC.
Funerary stele of Paterinos. Tall, palmette relief stele depicting the dead Paterinos, son of Antigonos, standing in the middle of the panel. It is a good specimen of the local sculpture workshop, dated to the end of the 2nd century BC.
Gold jewellery from a female burial. Pair of gold earrings, a gold ring and a necklace made of gold and cornelian rings. Dated to the 2nd century BC.
Law concerning the Gymnasium. A remarkable inscription recording the rules of the Gymnasium of Veroia. The preserved text refers to the obligations of the youths practicing in the Gymnasium. Dated to the first half of the 2nd century BC.
Bust of Olganos from Kopanos, near Naoussa. Protome of the river-god Olganos, son of the mythical Veretos and brother of Mieza and Veroia. This elegant statue is dated to the second half of the 2nd century AD.
Marble table support (trapezophoron). It bears the relief representation of Zeus, transformed into an eagle, abducting Ganymedes. Dated to the 2nd century AD.

The Archaeological Museum of Delphi, one of the most important in Greece, exhibits the history of the Delphic sanctuary, site of the most famous ancient Greek oracle. Its rich collections are comprised primarily of architectural sculpture, statues and minor objects donated to the sanctuary. These reflect its religious, political and artistic activities from its early years in the eight century BC to its decline in Late Antiquity.
The museum is housed in a two-storey building with a total surface area of 2270 square metres, with fourteen exhibition rooms, 558 square metres of storerooms and conservation laboratories for pottery, metal objects and mosaics.
Η μόνιμη έκθεση του Αρχαιολογικού Μουσείου Δελφών έχει ως κύριο θέμα την ιστορία του δελφικού ιερού και μαντείου και περιλαμβάνει αντικείμενα, που καλύπτουν χρονολογικά πολλούς αιώνες, από τα προϊστορικά χρόνια έως την ύστερη αρχαιότητα. Τα περισσότερα είναι προσφορές των πιστών στο ιερό και χρονολογούνται στην περίοδο ακμής του, από την αρχαϊκή έως τη ρωμαϊκή εποχή.
Βασικός ιστός της παρουσίασής τους είναι αφ' ενός η τήρηση του χρονολογικού πλαισίου μέσα στο οποίο εκτυλίσσεται η ανάπτυξη του ιερού και αφ' ετέρου η ανάδειξη συνόλων ευρημάτων με κοινή προέλευση είτε τοπογραφική (ιερό Προναίας, αποθέτης Ιεράς οδού) είτε κτηριακή (ναός Απόλλωνα, θησαυρός Σιφνίων).
Τα εκθέματα ομαδοποιούνται και εντάσσονται σε ευρύτερες εκθεσιακές ενότητες ώστε ο επισκέπτης να μπορεί να κατανοήσει τις περιόδους ακμής ή κάμψης του ιερού, την οικονομική ευρωστία των εκάστοτε αναθετών, την ταυτότητα των καλλιτεχνικών εργαστηρίων που αναλάμβαναν την παραγωγή, την οικιστική και δημογραφική ανάπτυξη γύρω από το ιερό.
Σημαντικός παράγοντας στην οργάνωση της έκθεσης είναι η φύση των εκθεμάτων: οι πλαστικές και αρχιτεκτονικές δημιουργίες από την αρχαϊκή ως τη ρωμαϊκή περίοδο απαιτούν ευρυχωρία για την ανάδειξή τους, ενώ παράλληλα υπάρχουν τα έργα μικροτεχνίας.
Στην έκθεση εξαίρεται η τέχνη της αρχαϊκής εποχής και τα μεταλλικά ή μαρμάρινα αναθήματα έναντι των κεραμικών. Υπερτερούν οι μνημειακές συνθέσεις αρχιτεκτονικής και πλαστικής έναντι των οικιστικών ή ταφικών συνόλων, ενώ ορισμένα εντυπωσιακά ευρήματα εκτίθενται μεμονωμένα, όπως ο περίφημος Ηνίοχος.
The permanent exhibition of the Archaeological Museum of Delphi focuses on the history of the Delphic sanctuary and oracle, covering the long time span from prehistory to Late Antiquity. Most of the exhibits were donated to the sanctuary during its period of great prosperity, from Archaic Greek to Roman times.
