In 1973 Hunan Restaurant was established by Mr. K.C. Foo, a textile engineer from Taipei, Taiwan, and his wife Wan Chiao Foo. After retiring and moving to the United States to join his children, Mr.Foo noticed the lack of authentic chinese food in the Main Line area and opened the first ...Hunan Restaurant in Wayne, PA. Using original family recipes from his home province of Hunan, China, Mr.K.C. Foo and his eldest son Dr. E-Ni Foo, a Princeton University graduate with a doctorate in physics, and his wife, Betty Foo, developed a thriving family business. In 1976 realizing that the Wayne location could no longer support the multitudes of customers, they moved to its current location in Ardmore, PA. After 36 years and multiple generations of customers we are still proud to serve our traditional Hunan cuisine to the Main Line community. Thank you to all of our patrons and friends who have supported us through the years.

Main Line Memories - RADNOR - 2012
Radnor Township is a township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States, and lies along The Main Line, (a collection of highly affluent Philadelphia suburbs). The township was founded in 1682, as a land grant from William Penn, part of the Welsh Tract and named for Radnorshire in Wales. In 1717, the Welsh Friends erected a Quaker meetinghouse (Radnor Friends Meetinghouse) near what is now the intersection of Conestoga Road and Sproul Road at the geographic center of the township. The new town, Radnorville, later known as the community of Ithan after nearby Ithan Creek, grew around the meetinghouse.

Bastille Day 2014 Media Pa
Media Pennsylvania has done a Bastille Day celebration on the Second Saturday in July for many years. The re-enactment of the storming of the Bastille was performed by members of the ensemble of the Hedgerow Theater, which was the first repertory theater in the United States.
In addition to the re-enactment of the storming of the Bastille, there was live music, food (with State Street closed, the restaurants set out tables in the street as they do for Dining Under the Stars™ every Wednesday in the summer), as well as jugglers and other entertainers, live street art, and a scaled-down reproduction of the Eiffel Tower on Veteran's Square in front of the Delaware County Courthouse.
Media Pa has a Second Saturday celebration every month, with restaurants, shops and other venues staying open late with live music, special art exhibitions, and other activities, such as free Tango lessons and the Tango Hop, and many other events.
Some months have a special musical or artistic focus, such as the Roots Ramble in April, featuring roots music of all kinds, the Blues Stroll in June, and the Jazz Fest in November.

How to Finance a Car
Watch more How to Buy a Car videos:
Make sure you get the best possible terms on your car loan by doing your homework.
Step 1: Get your credit rating
Request a copy of your credit report by logging onto annualcreditreport.com or by calling 1-877-322-8228. You are entitled to one free copy per year. Car loans are based on your credit rating, so make sure there are no mistakes.
Tip
Try to scrape together a down payment of at least 15 percent, which will greatly reduce your financing costs.
Step 2: Shop before you shop
Once you figure out how much you can afford to spend on a monthly payment, and before you set foot on a car lot, get a bank or credit union to pre-approve you for a car loan.
Tip
Search online for sites that compare current auto-loan rates.
Step 3: Focus on the APR
When comparing loans, focus on the APR -- annual percentage rate -- rather than the monthly payment. It’s more important to have a low interest rate, as long as you can make the payment each month.
Tip
Resist the temptation to finance a car for longer than 48 months. You’ll be paying so much in interest that if the car is stolen or wrecked, you run the risk of owing more than the car is worth.
Step 4: Play let’s make a deal
Head to the dealership. Tell them you’re pre-approved for a car loan, and ask them if they can offer you a better financing deal than the one you’ve secured already.
Step 5: Do the math
Always crunch the numbers before agreeing to a financing plan. If the dealer offers you a choice of either zero-percent financing or a cash rebate, do the math to figure out which is the better deal.
Step 6: Pay on time
Make your payments on time. Late payments lead to late fees, which will affect your credit rating.
Did You Know?
The average car loan is for 98 percent of the price of the vehicle.
