Penang, Malaysia is well-known among foreigners for many things but nothing can beats the amazing coffee, some most mouthwatering foods in Malaysia and beautiful Colonial buildings. After spending a couple days and settling in to this amazing island we decided to see what all the hype was about - one of the main thing to do is to hunt for street art.
With our day starting as it normally does and things not going as planned we started to rely on the locals to guide the rest of the day. With where we would go for lunch and let me tell you, things turned out AMAZING. This is why having little plans or even plans that don’t work sometimes is best thing.

Georgetown on the island of Penang (Pulau Pinang) is a tourist favourite in Malaysia. As the second largest city in Malaysia and the old town being a UNESCO World Heritage Site Georgetown features a large number of eating places and several colonial-era buildings.
We start the walk with some birthday karaoke :-) on Love Lane. The area around Chulia Street has some of the nightlife and is more quiet during the day. We walk around and somewhat into the direction of the picturesque Armenia street.
On the way to the old core city we see the Kapitan Keling Mosque, and check some of the famous street art around the popular Armenia street. We finally go further to down to the sea and the Clan Jetties which are the old Chinese water villages.
A hot day with a final cool breeze near the ocean.

Armenian Street, or Lebuh Armenian, is a street in the inner city of George Town in Penang island in Malaysia and within the core zone of the George Town Unesco World Heritage Site. It derives its name from an Armenian family who once stayed at the junction of the now Armenian Street and Beach Street in the early part of the 19th century. The street is the venue of the weekly Armenian Street Fair.

I had a great time with my friends in Penang for 3 freaking days and i love every single moment of it. This will be my first official travelogue and trust me, I'm literally so exited for more.
At first it was a crazy 4 hour car ride all the way to Penang from KL but it was worth it becuase we were karaoke-ing in the car and having so much fun. None of us slept till we reach Penang. When we reached out check in was around 2pm and we were already in Penang around 9.30 am so we just made use of the time and we walked around the street looking for food and no shop were open at that time becuase it was early haha !! so then we ate burger king instead in the mall becuase we were starving.
Then we walked around all the way to different street which we didn't know becuase it was such a random decision and then we went back to the hotel for CHECK IN !. After getting freshed up, we drove to the Armenian Street and there were so many amazing food and shops there selling so many Handcrafts stuffs. I was mind blown because they were all so cute !! Then Shireen, was craving for ice balls and we surely had to get them !! Later on we just walked around to explore more and suddenly we thought of an amazing ice cream where they sell in Penang. It's a swirly burly ice cream with an amazing cone which is crusted omg !!!! it's was so good.
We had naan and Briyani for dinner and we were all out crazy at night for the FUN FAIR !!! THAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF DAY 1. It was so much fun and we played 3 rides but I only filmed when i was in a safe one .. The other two was extreme and i was scared that my camera will fly off somewhere and land on someone's head ????????. Then we head back home with the crazy dizziness and we had a late supper (Nasi Tomyam Penang) and we also had a great self pamper moment before going to bed !!
My Day 1 Penang trip was AWESOME !!!!!!! STAY TUNED FOR DAY 2'S TRAVELOGUE IN PENANG.
