Today I visited the Instituto para os Assuntos Civicos E Municipais and enjoyed the exhibition of The Beginning of the Art of the Ming Porcelain with Chinese ceramics and Ming porcelain from the Ming Dynasty.
Instituto para os Assuntos Civicos E Municipais is the former city municipality from when Macau was still a Portuguese colony. Today it is more like a Macau art museum used for small specialised exhibitions like this with Ming porcelain from the Ming Dynasty.

Jun – Jul 2019, Encontro em Macau!
Este ano, em que se assinala o 20.º aniversário da Transferência da Administração de Macau para a China e o 40.º aniversário do estabelecimento das relações diplomáticas entre a China e Portugal, organizámos a segunda edição deste evento, a fim de consolidar o papel de Macau como Centro de Intercâmbio Cultural entre a China e os Países de Língua Portuguesa. Tomando a cultura como a ligação e as artes como portadoras, procuramos, por meio de vários intercâmbios e eventos, realçar a aura, o carácter e o charme do contexto cultural de ambas as línguas, bem como a evolução histórica da coexistência harmoniosa destas culturas ao longo de vários anos sem resultar na perda da identidade própria de cada uma.

The Festival of Arts and Culture between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries has the theme Meeting in Macau and covers five major events, including the Film Festival between China and the Portuguese Language Countries, which offers a total of 24 films in 23 screenings and presents to the public contemporary cinematographic works and great directors of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, as well as films filmed in Macau by filmmakers of Portuguese descent; the exhibition Scaffolding - Macao Stories at Torre do Tombo, which presents the successful application of the Scaffolding collection [Macao Official Registers during the Qing Dynasty (1693-1886)], a joint application of the Archives of Macau and the National Archives of Torre do Tombo of Portugal, to the Register of the Memory of the World of UNESCO, exhibition that includes a talk and the issuance of commemorative stamps in collaboration with the Postal and Telecommunications Bureau to share with the public documents that evoke past historical events in Macao not only related to China and Portugal but also evidence important moments in World History; will be held between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries, which invites the Macao Performing Arts Group and performing arts professionals and artistic groups from eight Portuguese-speaking countries to perform in Macao. cultural and artistic development of the participating countries and regions; the Cultural Forum between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, dedicated to the theme of cultural diversity, invites scholars and scholars from the Chinese, Macao and Portuguese Speaking Countries cultural sectors to present thematic lectures, including study visits and exchange sessions, among others, offering a platform for communication and promoting the exchange cultural dialogue between China and Portuguese-speaking countries; the Annual Exhibition of Arts between China and Portuguese Language Countries presents four thematic exhibitions of contemporary art, namely Alter Ego, O Universo, Depfundar and Aiya, among which Alter Ego counts on MGM as an associated special partnership. “灣區共融一家親——綜藝表演活動”將於本周六下午三時至五時假塔石廣場舉行。是次活動邀請粵港澳大灣區內的廣州、珠海、江門、佛山、香港及澳門等地的工會外，也有東莞、惠州、深圳、中山及肇慶等地的武術、體育團體參與演出。演出項目包括武術、歌唱、粵劇及健身氣功八段錦的千人匯演等，搭建粵港澳大灣區大眾文康體的交流平台，推動全民健身，加強愛國團結，促進灣區和諧共融。
職工健康生活豐富
阮愛武致詞時表示，為慶祝中華人民共和國成立七十周年、澳門特別行政區成立二十周年及迎接工聯總會成立七十周年，工聯體委會在工聯總會領導下開展年度計劃職工健康生活系列活動，包括健康常識生活講座、健身氣功八段錦教練員培訓班、向本澳中學進行健身氣功八段錦的推廣培訓工作及拍攝教學影片等。

主辦方介紹說，為慶「雙慶」、進一步推動職工強身健體努力打拼，迎接工聯70華誕。該會於本周六（30日）下午3時至5時假塔石廣場舉行「灣區共融一家親─綜藝表演活動」，開幕禮設在當日下午3時舉行，表演邀請了粵港澳大灣區9+2城市各總工會參與，表演包括有：武術、歌唱、粵劇及《健身氣功．八段錦》千人匯演在內15個精彩節目，期望藉活動搭建大灣區大眾文康體的交流平台，推動全民健身，加強愛國團結，促進灣區和諧共融。
會上，阮愛武作「2019職工健康生活系列活動」工作報告。他表示，系列活動由今年1月展開，包括有：5場健康常識生活講座，向超過300名職工推介健康生活的重要性；《健身氣功．八段錦》教練員培訓班一共有60名學員參加，其中43名學員考獲證書；並向本澳各校學生開展《健身氣功．八段錦》的推廣培訓工作，近800名學生參加。
另外，為方便教學及進一步普及工作的開展，拍攝粵語版《健身氣功．八段錦》教學影片；《健身氣功．八段錦》大型千人匯演活動，近1300本澳健身氣功愛好者參加。他又指，這系列活動旨在加強廣大職工、市民和青少年認識健康生活的重要性，推動大眾積極參與強身健體運動鍛鍊，養成終身運動的良好習慣。

The 10,500,000-square-foot (980,000 m2) Venetian Macao is modeled on its sister casino resort The Venetian Las Vegas, and is the sixth-largest building in the world by floor area. The Venetian Macao is the largest casino in the world, and the largest single structure hotel building in Asia.

The main hotel tower was finished in July 2007 and the resort officially opened on 28 August 2007.[1] The resort has 3000 suites, 1,200,000 sq ft (110,000 m2) of convention space, 1,600,000 sq ft (150,000 m2) of retail, 550,000 square feet (51,000 m2) of casino space -- with 3400 slot machines and 800 gambling tables and a 15,000 seat CotaiArena for entertainment and sports events.
The lead architect for the Venetian Macao wereAedas and HKS, Inc. joint venture, who were responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of the project on site.
We got so bored staying in China that we decided to change things up. Now we're in Venice, Italy.
Actually we just crossed the street from our hotel in Macau and now we're visiting the Venetian. So we're still in China.
So even if you're not a huge gambler there is still plenty to do in Cotai Central here in Macau. There are so many hotels that you can visit and every hotel usually has a unique show that they put on. Here at the Venetian you can ride the Gondola and just feel like you're in Italy for an afternoon. Then the hotel we were staying at was having some kind of Shrek parade which you missed out on. I did miss it but Sam loved it. Oh wow, yes! There is just lots of shows and different performances that you can attend in the evenings. So plenty to do aside from gambling.
Coming early in the morning was a really good idea. We basically almost have this whole place to ourselves.

Well, Macau is a place where dreams come true. You make a little wish and throw your coin into the water. Being the high roller that I am. I've got a Macau ten cent piece here. Which I'm going to throw. Missed it. You missed it? Nice.
And of course 1 baht. what?
