The Camera Museum - Senyum Sajalah
It is common for a photographer to say 'smile' before taking your picture, but this photographer asked what makes you smile? instead. The exhibition is a product of brief glimpses of bright stories behind a smile blooming out of ordinary everyday faces.
John Cheong, the photographer, artist, activist and hypnotherapist is on his journey of becoming a 'smilist' through his recent obsession with what makes us smile. Senyum Sajalah is a pictorial and experiential piece on that which makes us special, that which makes us Malaysian. Pictorial for it will comprise thousands of pictures of Malaysians simply enjoying being Malaysians. Experiential because the infectious nature of smiling means you're likely to lift your day as you lift the corners of your mouth in response.

檳城亞洲漫畫文化館 Penang Asia Comic Cultural Museum
The Asia's first comic-themed museum was opened at ICT Mall, Komtar in Penang!
The Asia Comic Cultural Museum showcases work of cartoonists from nine countries in Asia, namely Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea.
The museum to be opened to the public from 11am to 9pm daily will display comics and 3D cartoon illustrations and popular comic characters such as Monkey King, Ultraman and Masked Rider.
