a Kyle Le Travel Vlog
Vietnamese Abroad aka Viet Kieu are coming back to Vietnam more and more these days. And on this day, my friends representing six other countries got together to visit Long Khanh's Chua Chan Gia Lao Mountain, which is off tourist radars. We visited during a religious holy time so thousands of locals were also there praying to Buddha.
Afterwards we stumbled upon a local restaurant called Ong Gia and had this incredible dried fish salad with rice crackers and tamarind fish sauce followed by a local chicken. It was a great day!

HA LONG BAY VIETNAM | Climbing in Cat Ba | Vegan Eats
In this video we travel from Halong Bay, Vietnam to the island of Cat Ba to explore the island and do a bit of rock climbing. Coming from the Northeast region of the United States the climate and rock type (limestone) was an adjustment, but we definitely had fun climbing in Vietnam! I hope you enjoy our travel vlog of Vietnam.

South East Asia | Halong Bay, Vietnam | Adventure Travel & Tours
For more information about our Vietnam tours, visit On The Go Tours:
Sprawling Halong City is the gateway to Halong Bay - the jewel in Vietnam’s scenic crown!
Widely considered to be one of the natural wonders of the world, this UNESCO World Heritage listed region is simply breath-taking. Thousands of majestic limestone, jungle covered peaks and isles, rise dramatically out of the sparkling emerald waters of the bay.
On the tiny islands, illuminated caves and picturesque hidden coves of all shapes and sizes await discovery and the towering peaks provide some of the best rock climbing in South East Asia.
There are also a number of colourful floating markets dotted around the bay. The largest and most popular island in Halong Bay is jungle clad Cat Ba, which offers a wide range of adventure activities including trekking in Cat Ba National Park, biking, climbing and sailing.
Just south of Cat Ba, the offshore islands of beautiful Lan Ha Bay, offer pristine white sand beaches. The ideal way to explore Halong Bay is onboard a traditional Chinese style Junk boat which can either be privately chartered or shared.
On The Go’s Vietnam group tours, tailor made holidays and private journeys reveal the very best of this incredible country and can be made to suit all styles of travel.

The Best Halong Bay Cruise 2014 (do NOT book in Hanoi!!!!!!!!!!!)
- This is the second time in 2014 that I've done a Halong Bay cruise in Vietnam.
I booked through Alibaba's Hotel and Restaurant in Cat Ba.
For $25 I got:
A full day (8 hour) boat tour in and around Cat Ba Island/Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.
A semi-private tour (only 3 people in our group!) with 2 tour guides
A visit to a floating fishing village
A visit to Monkey Island (I saw two monkeys - score!)
An AMAZING authentic Vietnamese lunch cooked for us on the boat (fresh fish/seafood/shrimp, steamed rice w/spices and sauces, chicken and pineapple, clams, and homemade rice wine)
2 hours kayaking in CAVES - it's amazing, you kayak underneath the limestone cliffs and suddenly emerge in this lagoon. There are three secret lakes that connect to each other. They are unbelievably quiet, peaceful, and magical.
BEWARE: I've heard nothing but horror stories about booking a Halong Bay cruise through Hanoi - people get stuck on the boat for hours, and two of my friends got kicked OFF the boat b/c the company had overbooked. They had to find last minute accommodation for the night even though they'd already paid to stay overnight on the boat. Oh, and no refund was offered. No thank you!

My Hanoi - Vietnam
March 2001
Hanoi is one of the new global cities of the 21st century - a bustling centre of international trade and tourism, in competition with other fast growing cities of South East Asia and the burgeoning South China region. Growing urbanisation has led to a boom in construction: market reform and globalization have caused an influx of Western consumer goods.
Halong Bay Cruise - Sung Sot Cave & Ti Top Island [South East Asia Vlog #10]
Time to leave Hanoi and to start our trip at Halong Bay with V'Spirit Cruises. It's about 3 to 4 hours to reach Halong Bay from Hanoi.
We had a busy first day starting with lunch, a visit to the Sung Sot Cave, climbing on Ti Top Island, watching the Sunset and ending the day with dinner.

Hi, I am Eileen from Belgium, nice to meet you. I started this channel two years ago but was not updating on a regular basis. After making some videos for friends and family, I realized this is something I love to do. I got inspired by some of my favorite YouTube channels such as Travellight, Kara & Nate, The Way Away and the Bucketlist Family. I accepted the challenge to visit all Belgian municipalities and because I love to travel, I do it as often as possible. I just got back from one month in Asia and the next trip is already booked!
