Asiatique The Riverfront is a large open-air mall in Bangkok, Thailand. It is situated in the former docks of the East Asiatic Company, and faces the Chao Phraya River and Charoen Krung.
You Can reach Asiatique by taking 1st Bts to Sapan taksin and after take exit 2 to walk to the Boat ferries and take a boat for 30 bath to the other side of the river to Asiatique.
We explored around had some food and enjoyed some shows, I hope you will enjoy watching it.

Co van Kessel, an innovative and adventurous Dutchman, pioneered bicycle tours in Bangkok more than 30 years ago. As a longtime resident and self-professed lover of Bangkok, he understood very well the picture of accelerated urban development (gridlocked traffic, concrete towers, and choking pollution) that has plagued the recent image of the city. He also had a hunch that this was not what Bangkok or Thailand was all about.
Making it his goal to re-discover Bangkok, Co spent thousands of hours on his mountain bike exploring the vast network of local streets, alleyways, footpaths and canals between the main urban thoroughfares. What he found, lurking behind the facade of modernization, were hidden worlds of peace and tranquility, a picture of “real” Thai life that has remained unchanged for countless decades; an identity of a city that is true to the Thai people, yet largely unknown to outsiders.
Whether it’s the colorful sights and smells of the local markets, the fascinating life of locals along the canals, or the surprising existence of bountiful green belts, Co discovered the essence of what makes Bangkok one of Asia’s most captivating cities. Since then, it has been his mission to share these discoveries with the rest of the world.

Asiatique The Riverfront is an open air night market. It is one of the largest night markets in Thailand.
Asiatique The Riverfront is a large night market that consists of 10 different warehouses / shopping areas. Inside Asiatique The Riverfront there are about 1500 shops and about 40 restaurants, like fashion stores, souvenir shops, speciality stores, street food restaurants, and fine dining restaurants. There are also 2 entertainment zones which include Muay Thai boxing performances, a Cabaret show, a haunted house, and a ferris wheel.
Asiatique The Riverfront is located on Charoen Krung Road in the Bang Kho Laem district of Bangkok, and is located nearby the Chao Phraya River.

The easiest and fastest way to get there is via boat. Take the BTS to Saphan Taksin and jump on the free shuttle at the end of the pier. It only takes ten minutes, and the boat runs until 23:00.

The Bangkok Mass Transit System, commonly known as the BTS or the Skytrain (Thai: รถไฟฟ้า RTGS: rot fai fa), is an elevated rapid transit system in Bangkok, Thailand. It is operated by Bangkok Mass Transit System PCL (BTSC) under a concession granted by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA). The system consists of 35 stations along two lines: the Sukhumvit Line running northwards and eastwards, terminating at Mo Chit and Samrong respectively, and the Silom Line which serves Silom and Sathon Roads, the central business district of Bangkok, terminating at National Stadium and Bang Wa. My experience with Asiatique was mixed. The location is beautiful. The observation wheel, though expensive is nice. But food / drink is WAAYY overpriced compared to the rest of Bangkok. I did some interesting shopping for stationery & clothes though.
There's quite a bit of shopping as well as some entertaining shows. Despite being a night market, it's family friendly too. So I guess it was a good one time visit. I enjoyed myself but I probably wouldn't go again.
