Egg Harbor Township is a township in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 43,323, reflecting an increase of 12,597 (+41.0%) from the 30,726 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 6,182 (+25.2%) from the 24,544 counted in the 1990 Census.
Egg Harbor Township was first mentioned as part of Gloucester County in records dating back to March 20, 1693, and at times was called New Weymouth. The township's western boundary was established on May 13, 1761, with the area called Great Egg-Harbour Township. Portions of the township were taken to form Galloway Township, which was established by Royal charter on April 4, 1774. Additional portions were taken to form Weymouth Township on February 12, 1798. On February 21, 1798, the area was incorporated as Egg-Harbour Township. Over the ensuing centuries, portions of the township were taken to create many new municipalities: Hamilton Township on February 5, 1813; Atlantic City on May 1, 1854; Absecon on May 1, 1854; South Atlantic City (now Margate City) on September 7, 1885; Pleasantville on January 10, 1889; Linwood on February 20, 1889; Somers Point on April 24, 1886; Longport on March 7, 1898; Ventnor City on March 17, 1903; and Northfield on March 21, 1905.

Atlantic City Salutes America's Armed Forces Parade
The fourth annual Atlantic City Salutes America’s Armed Forces Parade kicked off an event-filled week in Atlantic City Monday, Aug. 11 that will also include free beach concerts and the annual air show. This year’s parade once again included many local war veterans, active and retired military, local dignitaries, representatives from local police and fire departments, marching bands, floats and more.

The heart got ripped out of AC. Mom & Pop Stores suffered some unexpected challenges. Hurricane Sandy's Eye left pronounced obliteration to Atlantic City, NJ that has never been seen before. Somers Point / Linwood Bike Path - New Jersey
This path is located right outside of Ocean City, New Jersey. I did not know what to expect from this path but I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful, well maintained path.
I did not complete the whole trail, I turned around at Tilton Road to return to Ocean City. But, I do plan on riding this path again.
After I got home I did some research on this path and found this great description of it on Trailink.com:
This is a true community trail: four small cities are tied together by this 6.5-mile corridor, each maintaining their short section and calling it a different name. Starting in Somers Point, a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, a large, bright sign welcomes you to the SOMERS POINT BICYCLE PATH. The trail then heads north through Linwood, Northfield and Pleasantville. Atlantic City is about a dozen miles northeast, and the area leans toward an urban setting. Frequent street crossings require caution.
Most of the trail travels through residential neighborhoods and the schools, parks and playing fields in between. Students use the path as a safe walking route between home and school. Residents of the trail's neighborhoods frequently walk it for exercise or take their babies for a ride along in strollers. Lightly traveled neighborhood roads—and busier Shore Road to the east—parallel much of the bike path, so a meal is never far away. A few short wooded sections provide a change of pace from the residential neighborhoods that make up most of the path's viewscape.

Storm in South New Jersey near Parvin State Park - Creepy face in storm looking in window
My band The Strayz played at the Ten22 Bar & Grill outside on the patio. This is located at the Centerton Country Club in Parvin State Park. We were forced to cut the night short when the storm hit. The storm was outrageous and at one point I feared a tornado was nearby. We pulled into a parking lot behind a large building for cover from the wind and rain which at this point was going sideways from the force of the wind. Lighting in the car and the storm created an eerie optical illusion in the glass at the last few seconds of the video. It looks like a killer clown face - odd. We learned later on two children age 2 and 7 were killed while camping by a falling tree in this storm. Sad! :o(

Dream Theater
Dream Theater is an American progressive metal/rock band formed in 1985 under the name Majesty by John Petrucci, John Myung, and Mike Portnoy while they attended Berklee College of Music in Massachusetts. They subsequently dropped out of their studies to further concentrate on the band that would ultimately become Dream Theater. Though a number of lineup changes followed, the three original members remained together along with James LaBrie and Jordan Rudess until September 8, 2010 when Portnoy left the band. In October 2010, the band held auditions for a drummer to replace Portnoy. Mike Mangini was announced as the new permanent drummer on April 29, 2011.
The band is well known for the technical proficiency of its instrumentalists, who have won many awards from music instruction magazines. Guitarist John Petrucci has been named as the third player on the G3 tour six times, more than any invited players. In 2009 he was named the No. 2 best metal guitarist by Joel McIver in his book The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists. He was also named as one of the Top 10 Fastest Shredders of All Time by GuitarOne magazine. Jordan Rudess is considered to be one of the greatest keyboard players of all time by many publications like MusicRadar. Former drummer Mike Portnoy has won 26 awards from Modern Drummer magazine and is also the second youngest person (at the age of 37) to be inducted into the Rock Drummer Hall of Fame. His replacement Mike Mangini has also previously set 5 WFD records. John Myung was voted the greatest bassist of all time in a poll conducted by MusicRadar in August through September 2010. The band was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2010.

In golf, par is the pre-determined number of strokes that a scratch (or 0 handicap) golfer should require to complete a hole, a round (the sum of the pars of the played holes), or a tournament (the sum of the pars of each round). Pars are the central component of stroke play, the most common kind of play in professional golf tournaments. The term is also used in golf-like sports such as disc golf with the same meaning.
The length of each hole from the tee placement to the pin determines par values for each hole primarily but not exclusively. Almost invariably, holes are assigned par values between three and five strokes. For a casual player from the middle tees, a par-three hole will be 100–250 yards (90–230 m) from the tee to the pin. Par-four holes are 250–470 yards (230–430 m), although tournament players will often encounter par-four holes 500 yards (460 m) or more, as it is not uncommon for short par-five holes for normal play to be turned into par-four holes in championship play. Par-five holes are typically 470–600 yards (430–550 m), but in the modern game holes of over 600 yards are becoming more common in championship play. Other relevant factors in setting the par for the hole include the terrain and obstacles (such as trees, water hazards, hills, or buildings) that may require a golfer to take more (or fewer) shots. Some golf courses feature par-sixes and, very rarely, par-sevens, although the latter are not recognised by the United States Golf Association.
