Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
Atlantic City International Airport (IATA: ACY, ICAO: KACY, FAA LID: ACY) is a joint civil-military airport 10 miles (16 km) northwest of Atlantic City, New Jersey, in Egg Harbor Township, the Pomona section of Galloway Township and in Hamilton Township. The airport is accessible via Exit 9 on the Atlantic City Expressway. The facility is operated by the South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA) and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which performs select management functions. Most of the land is owned by the Federal Aviation Administration and leased to the SJTA, while the SJTA owns the terminal building.The facility also is a base for the New Jersey Air National Guard's 177th Fighter Wing operating the F-16C/D Fighting Falcon, and the United States Coast Guard's Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City operating the HH-65 Dolphin. The airport is next to the FAA's William J. Hughes Technical Center, a major research and testing hub for the Federal Aviation Administration and a training center for the Federal Air Marshal Service. It was also a designated alternative landing site for the Space Shuttle.
The airport is served by Spirit Airlines which operates Airbus A319, Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 jetliners. Additionally, Caesars Entertainment has flights to cities east of the Mississippi River on its Total Rewards Air. This is offered as a scheduled charter year-round. United Airlines operated a series of flights starting in April, 2014, but decided the flights were not viable and discontinued service on December 3, 2014.
The South Jersey Transportation Authority has outlined plans for massive terminal expansions (on top of current initiatives) which might be needed if more airlines serve the airport. Passenger traffic at the airport in 2011 was 1,404,119, making it the 102nd busiest airport in the country. The SJTA owns a small area around the terminal and leases runways and other land from the FAA. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in March 2013 ordered a takeover of the airport's operations by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
ACJA 2001 Bluebird TransShuttleCS/1000 on NJT Rail Passenger Shuttle Route 3 Part 2
Aboard this complimentary shuttle for New Jersey Transit Train riders to various locations including beach and casino. New Jersey Transit used to operate these routes with their baby novas before it was handed over to Atlantic City Jitney Association.
This is me boarding an ACJA Bluebird TransShuttleCS/1000 bus heading to the beach in the northern side of the city. Besides serving the shore area, Route 3 serves the following casino, Resorts, Taj Mahal, and Showboat. The shuttle is a convenient way for passengers to access the city area without having to walk a lengthy road to their destination. Also unlike their usual Jitney's, the association used mini bus due to high passenger demands for this route while some other routes used jitneys to meet passenger demands.
This could also be my only ride as according to NJT source that the city plans to replace its entire fleet with new CNG buses soon.
