The Famous Shoe Tree of Nevada - How it got started
Kip shares with us how the famous shoe tree on hi-way 50, west of Austin Nevada got its start.
Hey if you're like me and don't have enough time or you have the time but don't have enough money to treasure hunt or explore like you would like to. Or if you can't retire because your 401K sucks and social security isn't enough. Then click this link and watch a couple of videos that can help change that. If you would like to change your current situation and willing to partner up with me and a powerful tool involving gold and silver, then call me after watching the video's and let's talk or if you have any questions my phone number is on the bottom of the video page.
Thanks Terry L. Carter

Green Bench Brewing tour: true mixed culture brewing | The Craft Beer Channel
We're back in St Pete, Florida to visit Green Bench Brewing. Named after the city's famous green benches this brewery has immersed itself in its local culture while brewing styles the locals had never even heard of. In doing so they've led a mini beer and culture revolution. We talk the challenges of licensing, the haze craze and mixed ferm brewing, as well as the controversial history of the green bench itself.

Reno - Nevada - Night Tour [4K]
Reno is a city in the northwest section of the U.S. state of Nevada, approximately 22 miles (35 km) from Lake Tahoe, known as The Biggest Little City in the World.
Reno is known for its casino industry. Reno is the county seat of Washoe County and sits in a high desert river valley at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and its downtown area (along with Sparks) occupies a valley informally known as the Truckee Meadows. The city is named after Union Major General Jesse L. Reno, who was killed in action during the American Civil War at the Battle of South Mountain on Fox's Gap.
Reno, with an estimated population of 250,998 as of 2018, is part of Reno-Sparks metropolitan, 2nd most populous in Nevada after Las Vegas-Henderson, both of which are part of the Las Vegas Valley. Greater Reno which consists of Washoe, Storey, Lyon counties and Carson City (the capital of Nevada), is the second largest metropolitan area in Nevada.

Van Life Cross Country California to Florida
Our vanlife road trip from California to Florida led us through some very diverse and amazing landscapes. We loved hiking the Imperial Sand Dunes near Yuma Arizona, camping out in the Sonoran Desert and hiking in beautiful Saguaro National Park near Tucson Arizona: and at White Sands National Monument in New Mexico:
We camped in our van on BLM land (public land), in various public parking lots in California and New Orleans and stayed on an organic fruit orchard in Austin, Texas through Harvest Hosts.
Harvest Hosts is a program that allows for free overnight camping at participating farms, breweries, wineries, distilleries, museums and golf clubs for a small annual membership fee.
For more info visit the Harvest Hosts website:
While at Austin Orchards, we had the honor to interview Jason Sawyer the manager of the orchard who talked to us about sustainable and eco-friendly farming and how he makes Spicy Peach BBQ Sauce and Jams:
During our road trip we enjoyed some delicious vegan food in Los Angeles and San Diego California, Tucson Arizona, Austin Texas and New Orleans Louisiana. These were our favorite vegan-friendly restaurants during the trip:
The Butcher's Daughter, Los Angeles:
Cafe Gratitude, Los Angeles:
Jyoti-Bihanga, San Diego:
World Curry, San Diego:
Govindas Natural Foods Buffet, Tucson:
Tumerico, Tucson:
The Beer Plant, Austin:
Counter Culture, Austin:
Bouldin Creek Cafe, Austin:
Veggie Heaven, Austin:
Sweet Soulfood, New Orleans:
This video completes our 7 month long roadtrip from Florida through Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana and back to Florida we were happy to spend a couple of month during winter and spring of 2019 in the Sunshine State and switch from van life to living in our travel trailer for a bit before our next big trip up north. Top 10 Reasons NOT to Move to Nevada
The Top 10 reasons You Should NOT to move to Nevada or Las Vegas and what you NEED to know before moving to Reno in one of the worst states in America!
➽ Worst places to live in Boise, Idaho -
➽ Top 10 Worst Things about living in Minneapolis, Minnesota -
What's it like living in Nevada? Well, for starters, it's hot, and is also home to both Las Vegas and the Reno Sparks Metropolitan Area, as well as the Area 51 Raid. Las Vegas and all of Clark County is actually one of the fastest growing cities in one of the worst states to move to in America for 2019, but outside of Vegas, there are a lot of bad small towns in Nevada. If this is one of the worst places to live, then why are so many people moving to Nevada?!
Thanks for watching From Here to There! This is one of my first top ten videos where we explain things about the world, it's history and geography, starting with the different states, cities, and towns in the United States. Find out the worst and best places to live in 2019!

40 HOLIDAY USA
Can you see yourself riding a cable-car in San Francisco, eating fresh crab and lobster at Fisherman's Wharf, winning a fortune in the casinos of Las Vegas or walking with the stars along Hollywood Boulevard? Transatlantic Airways invite you to spend two unforgettable weeks in the cities of California and Nevada and enjoy the glitter and the glamour of the Golden West.
Every city has its own character - San Francisco with the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, cable-cars climbing up the steep hills, restaurants serving food from every country in the world. You'll be offered tours to see the scenery of Monterey and Carmel, and the breathtaking views from the Pacific Coast Highway.
Then you join in the razzmatazz of Las Vegas, the gambling capital of the world, set in the Nevada Desert. Las Vegas never sleeps and the entertainment is the finest in the world. And from Las Vegas there's an optional flight over the spectacular Grand Canyon.
Finally you arrive in Los Angeles, home of the movie industry. Sunset Strip, Beverly Hills and Hollywood all wait to welcome you. You'll be able to choose any number of excursions -- the wonderful world of Disneyland, Universal Film Studios or even a shopping trip to Mexico.
This exciting three-centre tour offers you a golden opportunity to experience the special atmosphere of the Golden West.
Mark and Emma Austin are a young couple in their late twenties. Emma was interviewed about the holiday.
On the whole we enjoyed it very much, but it was pretty tiring. We went on most of the excursions, because we didn't want to miss anything. We really felt we needed more time. If we went again, we'd stay longer. We would have spent more time in San Francisco and less time in Los Angeles if we'd known more about the cities. Los Angeles was a bit disappointing. We went on a tour of Beverly Hills to see the houses of the stars. Unless you'd studied film history, you would never have heard of most of them! Generally speaking, the hotels, food and service were excellent. We found Americans particularly friendly. We probably took too much luggage. Clothes in the States were so cheap! It would have been a good idea to take empty suitcases! If we'd done that, the savings on clothes would almost have paid for the air fare!
Jack and Vera Drake are a retired couple. Jack was asked about the holiday.
We'd been looking forward to this trip for years, and it was the holiday of a lifetime. I think we liked Las Vegas most, but two nights were probably enough! If we'd stayed there much longer, we'd have lost all our money! We saw Tom Jones at the Desert Inn. I've never seen anything like that place! Disneyland is a must for anyone with children. If only we'd had our grandchildren with us! They would have loved it! We went on some of the excursions, and we could have gone on more, but you can't see everything, can you? I didn't think much of American beer, but Californian wine was a nice surprise. We wouldn't have chosen this tour unless it had been escorted. We're both in our seventies and we couldn't have managed on our own. Everybody was so helpful to us!
Fly-drive means freedom - the freedom of the road to explore this exciting country. Fly-drive must be the logical way of seeing the land of the motel and the freeway. America is made for drivers. American cars are easy to drive, comfortable, and petrol is much cheaper than in Europe. A flexible timetable is the ideal way of getting the most out of your holiday. We book your first night's accommodation in a hotel near the airport and deliver your car in the morning. Then you are as free as a bird - go anywhere, stay anywhere. If you wish to pre-pay your accommodation before departure, we can supply accommodation vouchers for one of the large chain of motels.
Boston is the ideal starting-point to explore New England. To the southeast are the rocky cliffs and sandy beaches of beautiful Cape Cod, ideal for swimming, sailing and fishing. To the north is New Hampshire with its green valleys, white steepled churches and infinite variety of wild flowers. Drive up into Maine, a land of forests and mountains with a spectacular coastline. Drive west across New York State to Niagara Falls or south through the beautiful rolling hills of Connecticut to a coastline of resort towns and fishing ports.
Matthew and Polly Winthrop took their two children on the fly-drive holiday. Polly's talking about it.
