Oameni din toata lumea danseaza pe megahitul lui Pharell Williams, ‘Happy’. Muzicieni de top din Romania raspund acestui curent: Piesa ‘Boat on the river’iti atinge inima cu ritmul ei dinamic de polka, si sugereaza sentimentul melancolic al orasului Cluj.
Cu ceva timp in urma, in 1979, formatia ‘Styx’, sarbatorea un hit mondial, cu ‘Boat on the river’. Astazi, 35 de ani mai tarziu, 5 artisti din Cluj readuc la viata aceasta piesa , intr-un mod unic si cu noi trairi: chitaristul Laszlo Kovacs, violonistul Jimi El Laco, percutionistul Razvan Krivach, si vocalista Omania Madalina(fosta concurenta la ‘Vocea Romaniei’).
Groove-ul sofisticat de polka naste in inimile oamenilor dorinta de a dansa. In videoclip in jur de 30 de oameni din toata tara sarbatoresc sound-ul romanesc numit de noi ‘Soul of Cuj’. Din Moldova pana la Bucuresti, din Serbia pana la Marea Neagra oamenii danseaza, cuceriti de ritmul plin de meloancolie , sentiment redat atat de frumos de piesa ‘Boat on the River’. De la fermierul autentic, pana la adolescentul fara inhibitii ce danseaza intr-o parcare, de la copilasul fericit si sincer pana la bunica cucerita de ritmul care incita atat de frumos, toata lumea danseaza!
Filmat cu un telefon mobil, sugerand cu atat mai mult viata reala, aceasta demonstratie de dans reflecta sufletul romanesc intruchipand parca si un nou mod est European de a trai si de a…dansa!

The Architecture of Washington D.C.
I recently took a trip to Washington D.C. and got some video footage of the architecture and statues. I've never been there until now, and I have to say it was quite an experience. The building architecture there is simply amazing, and I'm happy I was able to capture as much as I did in this video. Most of the shots were taken with my Canon T4i sitting on a tripod. Some shots were taken with the GoPro HERO3 Black Edition using the Smoothee Steadicam. I smoothed out some of the jumpy shots using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 built in Warp Stabilizer feature.
