This First Amendment Audit was filmed in the city of Grapevine, TX.

Bachman Lake Together: An Overview
Bachman Lake Together is the first initiative of the Zero to Five Funders Collaborative, which funds programs that equip, encourage and support parents and caregivers to prepare children for success in school, starting in kindergarten — and lasting a lifetime. Today, over 35 funders, including ORIX Foundation, have joined the ranks of Zero to Five Funders Collaborative membership in support of the work of partners agencies who have been providing dual-generation programming to families in the Bachman Lake neighborhood. Bachman Lake Together has embarked on the second phase of this initiative with the opening of the Bachman Lake Together Family Center.
The Bachman Lake Together Family Center is a safe, clean and modern early childhood collective impact facility where parents gather and fellowship, dual generational services are provided, and community action networks are fostered and supported. Our Family Center model leverages and multiplies the impact of service providers working on their own. The Bachman Lake Together Family Center enables us to widen the net of service providers available in the Bachman community. The goal is for parents in the Community Action Network to identify their needs and select the agencies that they want to invite to join the Bachman Lake Together Family Center to help them in their quest to insure that all children are prepared for school.

Along with all that’s new with the 2016 Corvette Stingray, it carries over an unmatched combination of performance and efficiency. Power comes from the 6.2L LT1 V-8 rated at an SAE-certified 455 horsepower (339 kW) and 460 lb-ft of torque (624 Nm) – and 460 horsepower (343 kW) and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) with the available performance exhaust system. The LT1 engine is offered with a seven-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Match and a paddle-shift eight-speed automatic transmission that offers quick shifts on par with the world’s best dual-clutch transmissions – delivered with the smoothness unique to a transmission with a torque converter.
The Corvette Stingray backs its performance capability with the greatest efficiency of any sports car on the market with more than 450 horsepower, delivering an EPA-estimated 17 mpg city driving and 29 mpg on the highway with the seven-speed manual transmission.

The three new design packages offered on 2016 Stingray offer customers more choices for a tailored look and feel of their Corvette. Each gives the vehicle a distinctive, customized appearance that reflects the different roles the Corvette plays in different customers’ experiences – from high-performance to grand touring.
Corvette Stingray design
Corvette Stingray’s provocative exterior styling is as functional as it is elegant. It makes a bold design statement that embraces the advanced technology of the car, while enhancing its overall performance in everything from the wind tunnel to the track.
Lighting is a signature element of the Corvette Stingray’s design and reinforces its high-tech aesthetic. At the front, indirect white LED lamps form a distinctive daytime styling cue. They are set in black-chrome lamp housings with standard HID projector headlamps. The turn signals feature edge-lit amber LED lighting.
The dual-element taillamps feature three-dimensional, sculpted lenses housing innovative indirect LED lighting. The state-of-the-art lighting uses hidden LED lamps that cast their light up from the bottom of the housing into a reverse reflector, creating an even glow. LED lamps are also used for the white backup lamps. The taillamps integrate functional aircraft-style air outlets for the available differential and transmission coolers.
With the top up, the convertible is designed for a refined driving experience. A thick fabric top, along with sound-absorbing padding and a glass rear window, contributes to a quiet cabin and premium appearance.

We sampled bacon milkshakes, rode longhorn steer, selfied w cowboys and visited the site of the Kennedy assassination. I said to Jet, “That X marks the actual spot where the President was shot,” and he replied, “That’s charming - showing me the spot where someone died.” Hmmm…
Amazing public art in this city, from the sexiest highways I’ve ever seen to one of the most insane $9 million bronze cattle drive with 73 massive sculptures. Everything really is bigger in Texas.
One of my old fave in-the-car songs was the perfect soundtrack to this city; driving around singing along with Jet will be one of my favourite memories from this stop.

Two years ago today I audited the Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center where an ill informed security officer (or law enforcement officer - whatever he decides on) tried to get me to leave the public easement. When I didn't he called the Federal Marshall on me and even through a little subtle insults my way.
Today I decided to revisit the location to see if they had learned their lesson. This video shows a recap of the audit two years ago, and what happened during my revisit.
