Tainan's Baihe Lotus Festival officially opens to the public
Tainan's Baihe Lotus Festival opened today. Increased demand for lotus root starch, inspired by the outbreak of tainted starch last year, meant an additional 100 hectares were planted. This large lotus pond is filled with pink buds poised to bloom. Today was the official debut of the annual Baihe Lotus Festival, though less than a fifth of the flowers were in bloom. This didn't stop many visitors from attending the event, hoping to get an early look at these flowers.Even though there were less lotus flowers on display, there were many lotus-themed dishes, including meat dumplings that drew praise from participants.Last year's outbreak of tainted starch led to increased demand for authentic lotus root starch. (1)これまでの沿革とこれからの将来構想
私は昭和22年4月生活保護法により余部村授産所を開設。生活要保護を対象に就労の場を
運営して来ました。
別紙の通り、老人ホーム、障がい者、生活保護施設等15種類の施設を開設し、
現況約1,000名の人々の生活の支援を行っていて、現在に至っております。
又、平成4年10月、それらの施設を運営する中、障がい者自らが経営する「就労の場」を
設置することを考案し、私の過去における世界の古代文明と近代文明の足跡を見学した実績を
纏め、太陽公園と名付けて施設を建設、運営も開始。その効果は障がい者の方々の喜びと
希望は絶大なるものであり、少資本ではありますが、自らの資本投資による経営と地位の確保、
年齢に関係なく就労期間の維持、高額の賃金を獲得等、生活上において安心と安全の満喫、
これが福祉施設だろうかと疑う位の満足度を障害をもつ方々に味わって頂きたいと願っております。
更に太陽公園の施設運営の効果を高め、より多くの障がい者の就労場の拡大のため、平成21年4月
ドイツのノイシュバンシュタイン城と同型の白鳥城を竣工させました。
この白鳥城こそは障害をもつ人々の就労の場であり、障害をもつ人々のシンボルとなり、
日本中の障害をもつ人々が相集まり、生きる力の源となり、障害をもつ人の希望であり、夢であり、
現実でもあります。
尚且、今回世界の国々のご支援を得て、国際的なFestivalを挙行し、その上世界民族衣装の
博覧会も併設、世界は一つと言えるような夢。行事を展開させて頂き、日本中の御理解ある皆様にご協力を得、
障がい者と生活に困窮している人々の就労を支援しようと実現しつつあります。そして、彼等が一日も早く
社会復帰される事を念じて、尚且、太陽公園が益々発展して行くことを願って居ります。

These must see places in Taichung, Taiwan are affordable, and guaranteed to please. Here we show you our perfect day in Taichung, Taiwan.
First, we checked in at Hotel Elizabeth where we were invited to be their guest for the night. It's a great value for the quality of the room, and the friendliness of the staff. We have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. Next, we ate at a great Thai food restaurant just around the corner.
After that we had traditional Taiwanese tea at Wu Wei Tsao Tang teahouse, which is the best tea-drinking experience we've ever had. It's a totally relaxing place, and the perfect place to really experience a Taiwanese tea ceremony.
Finally we finished up at Feng Chia Night Market, which is super popular with the locals. It was crazy busy and packed, but would you want to visit a night market that was any other way? Great food and great deals can be had here.
