So it is the iron ore complex of NMDC situated in Bacheli,Chattisgarh. It is in Dantewara district which is considered as one of the naxal area in India. Bacheli is a little town area located in a wonderfull place, surrounded by Bailadila Mountain range. IT feels like a little hill station.
Its been around 60 years since NMDC is working on this location. There is one more site situated in Kirandul which is arround 10 km from Bacheli. Ton's of iron ore are transported from here to the Steel Plants in India and arround the world.

If you have a mind to take a walk among the litigants, then once you visit the Bialadila Mines in Bastar. These hills are quite festive for their beauty, but due to the Naxalite area, the incidents happen occasionally.
In the hills here, the Praveer Chandra Bhangdev's rest house has been there. In summer, the king used to come to rest in the mountains of Baladila with his convoy. The name of this place was called Balladila due to being like the bull's hump. Belladila's Iron Mines are among the largest mines in the world. It becomes panoramic during rainy days. Walking through the winding path, dense forest, the Sarpali valleys, and reaching Akasnagar attracts people. The journey of 22 km long valley between Bachheli and Akashnagar is very exciting among the clouds, which is not only seen in Bastar division but also from Chhattisgarh and neighboring states to reach the Salikan Akashnagar. Adivasis of Bastar also used to extract the iron from the stones found in the Beladila, all their tools were being manufactured from local ore. In the 11th Century, Chola dynasty kings set up a factory to make iron weapon out of Baladila hills.
