Bajra Sandhi Monument is one of the very beautiful monuments because of the architecture, located in the middle of Denpasar City, this monument is very recognizable and to Balinese people even Foreign people.
Bajra Sandhi is divided into three parts.
Utama Mandala is the main building in the center of the monument, Madya Mandala is the inner courtyard surrounding the Utama Mandala, Nista Mandala is the outer courtyard surrounding the Madya Mandala.
Bajra Sandhi Monument was built and dedicated as a symbol of the struggle of the Balinese people for independence. In addition, many things about Bali are shown in this monument.

Monumen Bajra Sandhi adalah salah satu monumen yang sangat indah arsitekturnya, terletak di tengah Kota Denpasar monumen ini sangat dikenali masyarakat Bali bahkan luar Bali.

The monument is located in front of the Bali Governor's Office in Denpasar, Indonesia, on the island of Bali. The monument was built in 1987, inaugurated by president Megawati Sukarnoputri on June 14, 2003.

Bajra Sandhi Monument Renon Denpasar Bali merupakan Monumen Perjuangan Rakyat Bali untuk memberi hormat pada para pahlawan serta merupakan lambang pesemaian pelestarian jiwa perjuangan rakyat Bali dari generasi ke generasi dan dari zaman ke zaman serta lambang semangat untuk mempertahankan keutuhan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia.
Hal ini dapat dilihat dari 17 anak tangga yang ada di pintu utama, 8 buah tiang agung di dalam gedung monumen, dan monumen yang menjulang setinggi 45 meter. Lokasi monumen ini terletak di depan Kantor Gubernur Kepala Daerah Provinsi Bali yang juga di depan Gedung DPRD Provinsi Bali Niti Mandala Renon persisnya di Lapangan Puputan Renon.
Bajra Sandhi Monument Renon Denpasar Bali dikenal dengan nama Bajra Sandhi karena bentuknya menyerupai bajra atau genta yang digunakan oleh para Pendeta Hindu dalam mengucapkan Weda (mantra) pada saat upacara keagamaan.

The Bajra Sandhi Monument is a Monument to the Struggle of the Balinese People to salute the heroes and is a symbol of the preservation of the spirit of the struggle of the Balinese people from generation to generation and from time to time and symbol of the spirit to maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
This can be seen from 17 steps on the main door, 8 large pillars inside the monument building, and a monument that rises as high as 45 meters. The location of this monument is located in front of the Office of the Governor of Regional Head of Bali Province which is also in front of the Bali Provincial Parliament Building Niti Mandala Renon exactly at Puputan Renon Field.
This monument is known as Bajra Sandhi because of its shape resembling a bajra or genta used by Hindu priests in pronouncing the Vedas (mantra) during religious ceremonies.

About Bajra Sandhi Monument The architecture of the BajraSandhi Monument is based on the concept of the Tri Mandala. It is in the form of a rectangular building block and has three main parts. The Utama Mandala is the central part of the building. The Madhya Mandala is the innermost part of the monument which encompasses the Utama Mandala. The third part is the Nista Mandala which defines the periphery of the Madya Mandala. The BajraSandhi Monument was erected in the honour of the Heroes of the Puputan War. It is one of the main tourist spots that attract large flocks of students and international tourists. The outermost Nista Mandala centres the library, conference halls, library and the information halls. The Madhya Mandala represents the complete history with the main achievements. You can explore the origin of the Balinese rule and the inception of the Hinduism in the Bali Island. From the Utama Mandala, you can have a panoramic view of the Denpasar city. The PuputanMargarana is the recreational zone of the monument where the locals come for early morning exercises, jogging and cycling. A visit to the BajraSandhi Monument would drive you in to the flashback of the island.

The Bajra Sandhi Monument is the centrepiece of the ‘Central Park’ of Denpasar, Taman Puputan, where many people come to take a break.

The second floor contains 33 dioramas depicting the Balinese people's struggles throughout history, from the beginning of the Balinese kingdoms, the entrance of Hinduism, the Majapahit era, colonialism, and the struggle of independence, up to the present day.
The ground floor contains a library, exhibition room, conference room, administrative room, and restrooms.
Take the day to experience the monument, relax in Puputan park and enjoy the extensive selection of restaurants and cafes available in the Renon area.
You will also be able to see the Governor’s office located across the road from the park and enjoy the architecture of the government buildings in the surrounding area.

The main building, the Utama Mandala, has three floors.[1] The ground floor, Nistaning Utama Mandala, contains administrative rooms, a library, and exhibition halls. In the center of the ground floor is a lake called the Puser Tasik. The first floor, Madyaning Utama Mandala, contains 33 dioramas, similar to those in the National Monument in Jakarta, but with a focus on the struggles of the Balinese people. The dioramas cover various incidents in the history of the Balinese, including the Balinese kingdom, the introduction of Hinduism, the Majapahit era, Dutch colonialism, and the struggle for independence. The second floor is a meditative space which provides a panoramic view of Denpasar.
