Banna Strand in October 2014
Banna Strand is a long stretch of beach in North Kerry which is exposed to the unrelenting forces of the North Atlantic. It is also conveniently located on the Wild Atlantic Way. A word of caution though, set the volume down when viewing this video as the wind was playing havoc with my camera's microphone and it makes for annoying listening, but at the same it demonstrates to you the forces of nature that make themselves felt in the area. At the beginning of the video, you can see Kerry Head, followed by the open expanse of the Atlantic, then you are graced by the sight of Dingle Peninsula's Mount Brandon shrouded in cloud, before finally finishing with a shot of Banna car park with Slieve Mish towering above it in the background.
