BARBERS POINT, HI, UNITED STATES
Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit's Maritime Raid Force host a community engagement event at Naval Air Museum Barbers Point, Kapolei, Hawaii, Jan. 19, 2019. The event gave the Marines of the MRF the opportunity to build a relationship with the community. There were static displays of the Marines and their gear, a breaching display and a tactical demonstration of a high value target interdiction. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region. SNORKELING AT ELECTRIC BEACH (KAHE POINT BEACH PARK) - KAPOLEI - OAHU - HAWAII

NAS Barbers Point was closed by Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) action in the 1990s, with the Navy aircraft, primarily P-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft assigned to squadrons of Patrol Wing Two, relocating to Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, now Marine Corps Base Hawaii, on the other side of the island. However, Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point, with its complement of HH-65 Dolphin helicopters and HC-130H Hercules aircraft, remained after the Navy's departure. Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point is the only Coast Guard Air Station within the 14th United States Coast Guard District. It is also home to Naval Air Museum Barbers Point which preserves the history of the base and also has a collection of aircraft that reflect the US Navy, Marines, and Coast Guards presence on Barbers Point and in the state of Hawaii. Modulator 6024B Haleiwa Beach Park 9-1-2017
HALEIWA, Hawaii- The State’s monthly test of the Statewide Outdoor Warning Siren System using the Attention Alert Signal “Steady tone”, coordinated with the test of the Live Audio Broadcast segment of the Emergency Alert System, is scheduled for Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:45 a.m.
The siren test is a steady one minute tone on all sirens. The warning sirens are used to alert the public to any emergency that may pose a threat to life or property. The sound of the sirens is a cue for residents to turn on a radio or television for information and instruction for an impending emergency. Besides natural hazards, the Emergency Alert System could be used for terrorist incidents or acts of war.
Tests of the outdoor warning sirens and the Emergency Alert System are conducted simultaneously, normally on the first working day of the month, in cooperation with Hawaii’s broadcast industry. Emergency management and disaster preparedness information is located in the front section of telephone directories in all counties.
This Modulator 6024B replaced a EOWS 612. Acceptance testing was on Wednesday, 1-18-2017.

Federal Detention Center Honolulu - First Amendment Audit
Another of the series of First Amendment Audits conducted on March 20, 2017. This time I decided to audit the Federal Detention Center located at 351 Elliott St. Honolulu, HI 96819.
The audit was successful with no direct interaction with the prison guards. I noticed one on the roof watching me for several minutes, and a couple waved, but that was the extent of it.
Another perfect First Amendment Audit.

Wheeler Army Airfield, Schofield Barracks, & NSA Kunia - First Amendment Audit
On March 12, 2017, I was sent back to Schofield Barracks to get some more video footage and do a follow-up story to the one that I did for another news service concerning the mysterious infant death that occurred on base a few days ago. This time I was to get video the area around the base, neighboring bases, the geographical layout of the area, etc.
While I was there I decided to do a quick First Amendment Audit of Wheeler Army Airfield, Schofield Barracks, and the NSA Kunia Regional Security Operations Center ( made famous by Edward Snowden in 2013 ) all located next to each other in Wahiawa, Hawaii.
I want to apologize to my viewers upfront. I was approached by a tyrant right away and because of the way he approached me, I acted more aggressively than I normally do. I always treat those approaching me as they treat me. You act like a dick towards me, and you get the same in return, so when he came out I went into Full-On Dick Mode with him.
This audit took over 4 hours to do because the bases are very large. I edited the video down quite a bit and still had to break it up into two separate videos to be able to upload it.
I was testing a new Sony Handycam this time and did not have an external microphone, so there is a lot of wind noise. I do have the external microphone with windscreen now which will prevent this on future audits.
For those of you that suffer from ADD, or ADHD like I do, I will give you the Cliff Notes version:
* Wheeler Army Airfield Military Police - Pass
* Department of Defense Police - FAIL
* Honolulu Police Department - Pass
* Schofield Barracks Military Police - Pass
* NSA Police - Pass
The HPD officers, the NSA Police, and the Military Police were respectful and never said that what I was doing was illegal. Sgt. Mullins from the Department of Defense Police was the only tyrant on these audits. Sgt. Mullins, I have a special message just for you at the end of the video, be sure to watch closely.
Since Sgt. Mullins gave me such a warm reception, I decided to do a second audit afterward which will be uploaded in Part 2.

proposed MAKAKILO KAPOLEI HONOKAI HALE NB34 HABITAT CONSERVATION PRESERVE
It is requested that on January 24, 2018, at 7PM at Kapolei Hale, the Makakilo, Kapolei, Honokai Hale Neighborhood Board #34 entertain a motion:
REQUESTING 150-ACRES OF PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT LANDS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII WEST OAHU CAMPUS BE DEDICATED AS A HABITAT CONSERVATION PRESERVE - please come and support the pueo, mahalo.
Whereas, knowing there are only eleven Pueo on Oahu, and that the Pueo are in need of habitat to get off of the endangered species list, one would assume that where there is productive Pueo habitat owned by the State of Hawaii, that the State would then act accordingly to protect that habitat; now, therefore
Be it resolved, that the University of Hawaii Board of Regents, its President Mr. David Lassner, and the University of Hawaii West Oahu Chancellor, Dr. Maenette Benham, are to be contacted by the Makakilo, Kapolei, Honokai Hale Neighborhood Board #34 for the purposes of inviting the Regents, UH President, and Chancellor of the University of Hawaii West Oahu to its neighborhood board meeting to discuss with the community how the Habitat Conservation Preserve would be a superior and preferred end use for a portion of the Private Development Lands and for the University of Hawaii Board of Regents to take immediate action to dedicate 150-acres for such purposes; and
Be it further resolved, that the Makakilo, Kapolei, Honokai Hale Neighborhood Board #34 send a letter to Hawaii State Senator Mike Gabbard, and State Representative Ty Cullen, requesting the two legislators introduce legislation this upcoming legislative session for the necessary approvals for the University of Hawaii West Oahu campus to secure the 150-acre Habitat Conservation Preserve.
Modulator 6024B Waialae Beach Park 8-9-2019
HONOLULU- The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency (HI-EMA), together with the City and County of Honolulu Department of Emergency Management, conducted siren testing at Waialae Beach Park Friday 8-9-2019 at about 130 PM. This replaces a Thunderbolt.
Residents nearby may hear the siren sound for 30-seconds to 3-minute intervals during the identified timeframe. Testing will include short blasts known as “burps”. During the tests, Emergency Management Officials and Technicians will be checking the functionality of the sirens.
These sirens were installed as part of HI-EMA’s ongoing Outdoor Warning Siren Program. Other sirens will be updated, and new sirens installed, at various locations across the state under this Program.
The Outdoor Siren Warning System for Public Safety is one part of Hawaii’s Statewide Alert & Warning System used to notify the public during pending emergencies.
HI-EMA encourages the public to make use of other supplemental methods of warning including, but not limited to, signing up for the HNL.INFO mass text notification system and utilizing NOAA Weather Radio.
Listed below are the time stamps for each signal.

Places to see in ( Oahu - USA ) Kapolei
Kapolei is a planned community in Honolulu County, Hawaii, United States, on the island of Oahu. It is colloquially known as the second city of Oahu, in relation to Honolulu. Officially, it is a census-designated place (CDP) within the consolidated city-county of Honolulu.
The community takes its name from a volcanic cone, Puʻu o Kapolei. In the Hawaiian language, puʻu means hill and Kapo lei means beloved Kapo. According to legend, Kapo, Goddess of Fertility was sister to Pele, Goddess of Fire and Nāmaka, Goddess of the Sea.
Much of the land is part of the estate of industrialist James Campbell. Kapolei's major developer is Kapolei Property Development, a subsidiary of James Campbell Company.Kapolei sits primarily upon former sugarcane and pineapple fields.
Honolulu High-Capacity Transit Corridor Project, a rail line that is being constructed and will link the Kapolei area to Downtown Honolulu and Honolulu International Airport. When the HART rail project is complete, the western terminus will be located in Kapolei. Ka Makana Ali‘i, a mall that opened in October 2016, has 1.4 million square feet of retail space and more than a hundred stores. Macy's Department Store is an anchor for the new mall
Kapolei is located at the southern end of the slopes of the Waiʻanae mountain near the neighborhood of Makakilo with Fort Barrette Road, located along and named for historically important Fort Barrette, connecting Makakilo to Kapolei. It is located on the ʻEwa Plain approximately 25 miles (40 km) from Honolulu. The Interstate H-1 freeway divides more recently developed Kapolei from Makakilo, and traveling eastward on H-1 connects to Waipahu. In the other direction, the freeway ends about 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Kapolei, merging into Farrington Highway (State Route 93) to Kahe and then to Nānākuli on the Wai‘anae Coast. Traveling eastward on Farrington Highway connects to Honouliuli. Exit 1 on H-1 is Kalaeloa Boulevard, the entrance to Barbers Point and Campbell Industrial Park. Less than 1 mile beyond (west of) the merge of H-1 and Farrington Highway is an off ramp and overcrossing to the West Oahu resort area of Ko Olina. To the south, Renton Road connects Kapolei to Kalaeloa and, further east, to 'Ewa Villages.
