Manila City Tour Tagaytay Ridge Combo
Begin the day with a drive to the picturesque city of Tagaytay, a popular tourist destination because of its cool climate and picturesque scenery. It is located on a ridge 2,250 feet above sea level, which offers a panoramic view of Taal Lake and Volcano, known for being the smallest active volcano in the world.
A visit to the abandoned Palace in the Sky and find what is left of the “rest house” of the former President of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos. Admire breathtaking views of the lake and volcano from this wonderful vantage point.
The tour includes a stop for a brief lunch in one of the local restaurants where you can enjoy sumptuous Philippine cuisine and delicacies popular to the region. After that, prepare for the trip back to Metro Manila.
Our sightseeing tour of Manila starts with a visit to the American Cemetery and Memorial. The cemetery site or the resting place of our soldiers who lost their lives during the WWII, covers 152 acres. This contains the largest number of graves of any cemetery for U.S. personnel killed during World War II, a total of 17,191 and 36,286 missing in action who are recorded upon the walls of the memorial.
We will drive through Makati City, known as the financial center of the Philippines as we make our way to Manila via the scenic Roxas Boulevard, one of the best locations to see the beautiful Manila Bay sunset. This tour passes through Luneta Park (also called Rizal Park), one of the most significant tourist spots located in the heart of Manila, the capital City of the Philippines. A monument enshrining the remains of the country’s national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal is the park's symbolic focal point.
The next place to visit is Intramuros, known as the “Walled City”. Inside the city fortress are ancient walls, church ruins, and other relics of the Spanish Conquistadors era. Travel through the cobblestone streets to San Agustin Church, a Roman Catholic Church located inside the historic Walled City of Intramuros in Manila. In 1993, San Agustin Church was one of four Philippine churches constructed during the Spanish colonial period to be designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. End at Fort Santiago, one of the oldest Hispanic stone fortresses in the Philippines. This is where Dr. Jose Rizal spent his last days in incarceration and wrote his famous “Mi Último Adiós” (My Last Farewell).

Corregidor Island WW2 War Memorial from Manila
Join us on this escorted sightseeing tour to visit the site where two of the most celebrated battles during World War II took place, the Battle of Corregidor in 1942 and the Battle for the Recapture of Corregidor in 1945, between U.S. and Japanese forces. This is a must see historical site and a popular Philippine tourist destination.
Guarding the entrance to Manila Bay, lies Corregidor Island. This tadpole-shaped island, nicknamed “the Rock,” provided the first line of defense for Filipino and American soldiers from invading Japanese forces during the WWII. It was one of the Philippines' last military bastions which was taken over by the Japanese in 1942. In 1945, it was retaken by American forces.
Relive history by partaking in the Malinta Tunnel Light and Sound Show which chronicles the events that shaped the center of American operations during the war. Then visit the Mile Long Barracks that served as the quarters of some 2,000 US officials including General Douglas MacArthur. The Philippines’ former President Manuel L. Quezon and Vice President Sergio Osmena took their oath at the tunnel’s West Entrance. We’ll take a quick detour to the Spanish Lighthouse which offers a spectacular view of Manila Bay and the South China Sea.
Additional sights include the batteries displaying various armaments from that era and the Pacific War Memorial, one of only two memorials built by the US government to mark the war.

If you'd like to contribute to our efforts via PayPal, please accept my sincere thanks up front. I won't be sending a thank you email and here's why:
I want to focus on making videos. Period. I'm a one-man production crew most of the time and my editing skills suck. It takes me all day to edit a video. Add two babies, a house full of beautiful Filipinas causing me stress, and my beer drinking, and I just don't have time to answer every piece of communication coming my way. I got rid of Patreon and a monthly income because I didn't have the time to properly thank and interact with everyone. A thank you email created and sent by an intern ain't sincere in my book. It's more sincere if I just say thank you for your contribution now because it's really me typing these words.
