Dari pantai tanjung aan menuju pantai batu payung anda harus berjalan kaki melintasi bentangan pasir putih dan menyusuri tepian tebing waktu yang dibutuhkan lumayan lama sekitar 1 jam berjalan apa bila anda ingin sampai lebih cepat anda bisa menggunakan jasa perahu nelayan yang memang banyak disewakan di pantai tanjung aan jika menggunakan perahu jarak tempuh hanya 15 menit saja.
Dari ibu kota Mataram jarak menuju ke Pantai Batu Payung -/+ sekitar 65 Km bisa di tempuh sekitar -/+ 1 jam dengan menggunakan kendaraan roda dua maupun kendaraan roda empat dengan kecepatan 65-75 km/jam.

Gili Air Lombok is located on the Northwest side of Lombok. Around Gili's, can roam at least 5 special point where they can greet the Sea Horse, turtles, a wide variety of fish with different colors, as well as other sea dwellers.
When planning to travel to Lombok, Gili Gili Air is one that should be visited. Gili local people call it by the name Tengaq Aiq, which means in the midst of the sea.
Gili Air is usually visited by tourists in July-August. Most visitors are from overseas, such as Australia, England, France, Holland, Italy, and other countries. Foreign tourists are very interested in this Gili, because the beauty of the beach and ocean views are owned Gili Air. Not to mention if you peek at the underwater scenery is amazing. Wisatawan-wisatawan mancanegara tersebut sangat tertarik dengan Gili ini, karena keindahan pantai dan pemandangan laut yang dimiliki Gili Air. Belum lagi jika Anda mengintip pemandangan bawah lautnya yang sangat menakjubkan. Sehingga aktivitas yang paling diminati di Gili ini adalah snorkling dan menyelam.
Untuk mencapai Gili Air bukanlah hal sulit, yaitu dari Kota Mataram, dengan menaiki kendaraan darat menuju dermaga Bangsal. Perjalanan ke dermaga Bangsal dapat ditempuh sekitar 1 jam. Dari dermaga Bangsal menyeberang dengan perahu motor sekitar 15 menit perjalanan. Selain itu bisa juga menyeberang dari Senggigi Lombok dengan lama perjalanan sekitar 1 jam. Beberapa hotel kelas atas juga menyediakan fasilitas penjemputan, jika Anda memesan kamar untuk bermalam.
